but see that's the problem. you have lowered the bar so much, that you are celebrating (and few others like you), that we made a 4th down stop, defense did its job. they freaking gave up 34 points, that's worse than average last year, which was 6th all time worse. they gave up 190 yards rushing...but nah...I want to ignore anything else except that one play they made and celebrated like they won the superbowl.!!!!!

the pressure is on offense to be as close to perfect as possible and when they are not, which they will not be, based on standards set on this board....and when the head coach has a brain faart right on national TV, twice in the last 20 seconds....then crap like this happens and gives you ammunition to come complain about Dak not winning the game. when you are put in that position to have to win games like that most of the time, be close to perfect as possible, then there are times you win it. there are times you lose it. tends to even out, because they will not be perfect.

btw, dallas has had 5 punts in 3 games, by far the lowest in the league. top 10 offensively in almsot every category.

the offense had a chance to win the game, they didn't. and you keep mentioning Dak, but forget to mention Schotty, who said to throw the ball away. why why why why he would do that. from the play it was obvious that's what Dak did, just throw it away...

Wait. What am I deflecting. Do you know what my original point for bringing up Mahomes? Let me tell you why I brought up Mahomes. I started off saying how Dak isn't an elite quarterback.

I then made my point that for the elite quarterbacks in the game, it doesn't guarantee a team Ws, it only increases the chances of a team to get Ws.

I then said, lets look at a quarterback who's arguably the GOAT. GOAT status is pretty much higher than being elite, correct? Ok cool. I showed how last season, even a GOAT quarterback could not get Ws by himself, the Chiefs record BEFORE he got hurt backs that up.

To conclude, elite or GOAT quarterbacks don't get Ws, teams do. Now how can that be a deflection of anything? What did I deflect?

Matthew Stafford is an elite quarterback. Why is his team's record worse than Kirk Cousins team who isn't an elite quarterback? Is it because Cousins is better than Stafford, or because the Raiders are playing better than the Rams right now?
