Might have been if he hadn't got hurt.
The Chiefs were 6-8 before Mahomes got hurt. Again.... Teams get Ws, not just one player.

So if Dak plays well and still loses because the defense can't hold a lead it's his faultBecause it's not 2 minute comebacks. It's stats under 2 minutes. If you don't win, who cares?
Here is a perfect example of a two minute comeback to win. Something Dak never does. Or should I say, has done maybe twice in his entire career.
It's perfect timing for some.Bad timing, lol.
Hey now, be careful or my friend Eric will be along to let you know that that's a team stat not a qb stat!![]()
Depends if Dak can score a routine TD at the goaline or pre-plan for 3.So if Dak plays well and still loses because the defense can't hold a lead it's his fault![]()
No, they were 6-7 and driving to go 7-7.The Chiefs were 6-8 before Mahomes got hurt. Again.... Teams get Ws, not just one player.
The defense ended Raven's possessions forcing a punt or turnover on downs 5 times.I was so hoping our defense would improve alot this year because I am SICK of this excuse to absolve Dak from ANY form of criticism.
I wish I could have bet the Dak Defense League...it would go like this:
"I bet you all 5 dollars our defense would stop Henry on 4th and goal to give Dak a chance to win the game late."
(Eagerly) "oh you are so on our defense will SUCK and we won't stop Henry on anything!"
"Pay up!"
The defense FINALLY gave the offense a shot in a tough game, and Dak blew it. But we still blame the defense.
This is terminal madness.
What? Hello! Do you realize he got injured last season? Perhaps that is why the Chiefs were not in the playoffs.Dak's not an elite quarterback, but even a quarterback being elite doesn't guarantee Ws. Elite quarterbacks can increase your chances of getting Ws, but its not guaranteed to elite quarterbacks.
For an example.... Mahomes is arguably a GOAT quarterback. Where was all his Ws last season? Wasn't enough of them to get the Chiefs into the playoffs, was it... Exactly. Teams get Ws, not just a quarterback.
Wow..incredible.The defense ended Raven's possessions forcing a punt or turnover on downs 5 times.
The Ravens defense ended Cowboy's possessions forcing a punt or turnover on downs 3 times. They killed themselves on 2 other drives with a fumble and a blocked FG on a 59 yard attempt.
The Cowboys offense went 5-13 on 3rd down conversions.
Blaming the defense entirely on this loss is madness. I can't say terminal because it will never stop. lol
Prescott had five chances with the ball in his hands on two drives inside the ten yard line, and he didn't get it done. That was as big a reason for the loss as any of the other reasons for the loss.
How dare you talk facts. What? Hello! Do you realize he got injured last season? Perhaps that is why the Chiefs were not in the playoffs.

LolHey, All's fair in love and stats!
but see that's the problem. you have lowered the bar so much, that you are celebrating (and few others like you), that we made a 4th down stop, defense did its job. they freaking gave up 34 points, that's worse than average last year, which was 6th all time worse. they gave up 190 yards rushing...but nah...I want to ignore anything else except that one play they made and celebrated like they won the superbowl.!!!!!I was so hoping our defense would improve alot this year because I am SICK of this excuse to absolve Dak from ANY form of criticism.
