How many of you have already written off Christian Parker? Who thinks he is the right man for the job? Who is undecided?

I would love to hear some perspective on what you think we have (or don’t have) in Parker.

Parker is new to being a coordinator. But you have to start somewhere, no?you
But I do believe the lad is in over his head and will be sent packing after this season.
Me belief is after 4 games we shall get a truer picture of CP.

3 games tons of injuries to DBs in DB centric scheme and a ton of young players.

Nowhere near time for that.

This seems completely unfair to me. Let's give CP a chance. Jimmy Johnson didn't fair too well in year one either. Geez!

I have not written him off. This was always going to be a process. The cupboard was bare on defense and we have added some decent pieces, but they are learning their 4th scheme in as many years.

I am looking for progress and growth over this season. Can Parker get this D to be around 20th in the league?

I think an improvement of 10-12 spots over last season’s performance would be a huge win and also a realistic goal.

The early results are mostly poor— though there were some positive things on Sunday, despite the L.

Tons of injuries now that are also compounding issues. No excuses but Parker gets some grace from me as he acclimates to the challenges and rigors of being a first time DC in the NFL

I personally would like to see an aggressive style but the Eagles did win the super bowl with this scheme.

It's hard starting out your career as a defensive coordinator working under a limp. Noodle. Might as well give him some more time. We're not going anywhere this year. Anyway.

There was a red flag in the offseason.

Normally someone who has no track record - newly promoted, new to the organisation - should come in quietly, get the head down and work hard to establish themselves.

Instead we got this online and media hoopla about how he is the best thing since sliced bread etc etc. I'm not a fan of unproven people generating self publicity.

I'm still confident. Very intelligent man when he speaks and explains. Been very unlucky with injuries.

There are people who wrote him off before training camp and will write off any coach to come as long as the Jones family owns the team.

It’s just the nature of their relationship with the Cowboys.

Letting the giants run the same very easy and safe Hb out of the backfield throws was very damning. Strike 1.

Going man to man at the end of last game with 7 seconds left and making damn sure your players knew the time and how to help it run it is strike 2.

These are basic schematic flaws that a coach at this level simply shouldn’t have happen.

*He also looks kind of nerdy in a bad way.
Strike 2,5.
