A win today vs Houston does what for you as a Cowboys fan?

Absolutely. However, incessantly talking about them is what gives them credence. It's exactly what they're looking for!!!!!!

Don't mind me, I'm simply weary of the constant jabs at other posters!!!!!
All good, no sweat dude, you and i have been here long enough to know the dealio!

Hope you enjoy the heck out of the game today

Nice. Whats on TV now?

Actually I tape the games and watch so I can fast forward through all the gyrations n dances after routine catches etc...not to mention commercials n kick-offs n replays etc. Haven't watched a live game in probably 10-15 years. I spend about an hour and 15 minutes of my day watching a game and thats more than enough.

The hardest part is not seeing the score before watching the game and it has only happened 2 or 3 times since I started taping.

Go Cowboys!

A win against our in state rival the Texans who are having their own struggles does what for you? Does it make you happy, impressed, thankful, joyful, excited, hopeful?

Or are you not going to fall for the Kool-aid until we put together a string of wins?

This team has a lot to prove, a win here is good, but I'm not sure it create a buzz that the ship is on track! Please give your input

It would put us at 2-2, and would get us in a position to maybe make one more move to get this team as iron clad as possible. I'm thinking TJ Watt.

A win today does nothing for me as a Cowboys fan, and if you think I am a hater because of that statement don't bother replying to my post. The next few games are winnable, so the conversation can begin then as long as the team shows a sign of life. A loss on the other hand........

I hate to say it, I want a win but in reality a win doesn't make any difference because Texans are terrible. But a loss may trigger firing the HC and that is the thing I like to see.

Not much changes for me. I expect the Cowboys to win only because the Texans offense is that bad. If we can score 24 to 27 points, I can't see Houston exceeding that, without us turning the ball over a few times.

It puts us in good position to win the division.

Has them tied or one game back of one of the weaker divisions in pro ball. If not THE weakest.

Yeah a loss says more than a win honestly. They should smack them up honestly. I don’t care how the Cowboys do it if it’s a close game fine but they should win today.
I don't think you are being honest, I think you're being emotional,

you sound like all the other fans who say something similar, like if you don't beat them, they're winless , you were supposed too, what does that say about you,

No they actually are playing strength on strength, that defense, at any time can shut a team down in our offense at any time can blow out a team and, our defense is our weak spot against their weak spot, literally this game is even.... at home id say the Texans are 1-point faves..

Say they should blow them out ,is again setting up everyone to say if they don't or they lose then now you can complain,

dude seriously man, think about this,

it's a perfect match up for Houston at home,

it is their biggest strength whether they're inconsistent or not all their best players are on defense they spent $200 million or more, I mean they got a couple defensive ends that are the highest paid in football right now, I think they're both top five and pass rush money,

And you're telling me that that's not our weak spot is at our tackles and don't say that Guyton has arrived he has not arrived ,I watched the tape yes much improved but still Getting pushed into Prescott's area enough where Prescott has to move, but yeah he's not getting beat like a drum ,but it's their strength on our strength on that side of the ball, and then you have our weakness against their weakness on the other side!!

so, I don't know what's going to give I can tell you this though if you're expecting our offense to just put up 30 against that defense you might be asking for too much so it's our defense once again that's not going to allow them to be the get right defense for struggling offenses...

This is the ultimate setup game.. It also might be the game that Steele finally loses his job I sure hope they got Jones prepared to come in this could be a Chaz Green situation they're gonna line up Hunter and in the same spot right there they're going to say you're tight in and your terrible number 78 is about to get ran over all game.. I hope Broderick Jones is prepared..

I know they haven't looked like it but they still have a playoff caliber defense that at any moment can step up and crush a team even like the Cowboys offense This eerily is shaping up to be like the Chicago game last year so I just hope that they have the game plan to help counter some of it,

And I get it their offense hasn't looked great but our defense constantly is to get right group everybody circles on their calendars hey that's the game we can just do whatever we want we'll take all the risk because they can't stop it..

@TheMarathonContinues ...lol.

Makes me feel sorry for Texans fans who would trade us Stroud for Dak straight up w/o a 2nd thought.
Texans fans act like the biggest Cowboys haters. I hope the Cowboys step on necks today!

First sack for Malachi Lawrence? Right now Downs is the sack leader with 1:facepalm:

Go Cowboys! :starspin:

I bet on a blow out win by the cowboys with career days from Dak and the offense. Dont let me down!

But if we lose forum will be a **** storm. Accepted long ago this season w/l was entirely dependent on how many games the offense would drag the defense across the finish line

A win and a healthy one at that is exciting bc they have a shot at stacking some wins together and getting healthier in the next few weeks.

As I stated in my other thread, they can get to 4-2 and be healthy going into Philly and it’s on.

Let’s go - and to all of you out there complaining it’s just beating bad teams, well you have to play the teams on the schedule…and stop being miserable and enjoy the ride
People on this board have the right to fan how they choose.

The choice as to how members voice their opinions about this team should be left up to them, not  others who feel the need to create some sort of fan playbook.

What has been so enjoyable about this  ride over the past few years anyway?

If I come across as a bit grumpy this morning, i blame it on the fact that the Cowboys game won't be televised in the Washington DC area today.

Go Cowboys! :starspin:

I'm glad you asked.

It gets me pumped. I was originally neutral on the Texans, but through observation I can't stand most Texans fans.

To me, it's not quite like a divisional disdain, but Texans fanboys and girls are insufferable, like they gotta pop off when they see the star.

Step on necks and enjoy! I can't think about next week yet, and a wins a win in the NFL.

LFG Cowboys!
