News: ESPN: Brian Schottenheimer owned up to Rio mistakes in Cowboys meeting

He's treating Dak like he's a rookie. It's crazy.
I think the worst thing is Shoddy is earning some points with Jerry, for taking the heat off the Quarterback with this ridiculous story they are feeding the media and the gullible audience. The fun part is, it is making some people on her begrudgingly have to act like they believe what he says that doesn't make sense to continue their bad faith narratives. That's how I see it, because some of the people defending this aren't that dumb.

Let's say Dak was real quarterback.

Real quarterbacks win the game right there.

Period.

Ok, thats cool. But there's around 100 quarterbacks league wide in the NFL every season. Every year, Dak has finished in the top 10 every year he's completed the season healthy. Along the way, he's become an All-Pro and MVP candidate.

So I guess my questions are, how does someone who's not a "real quarterback" accomplish anything of those things and what are the names of other "not real quarterbacks" who have done those things?

Dak couldn't possibly be the first "not real quarterback in NFL history to have done these things, correct??? So for context, give me the names of other "not real quarterbacks" who have.

Oh yeah.... if Dak's not a real quarterback, what does that say about the other real quarterbacks who aren't perennial top 10 quarterbacks and are out of the top 10?

Are those quarterbacks real? Semi real? A hybrid? What are they?

NFL. coms new QB power ranking has Dak currently ranked 3rd (up from last week). So if he's not a real QB by your genius estimation, what is he?

Eh, the only way people aren’t saying Shotty and Dak suck is if they score a TD. If he waits and no one is open then it’s a bad play call or Dak ‘should have made a play’. God forbid he gets sacked and we lose right there, because you have to at least come away with a tie. The world would have exploded.

A FG to tie the game with 7 seconds left should be good enough to get to OT. People are just hellbent on blaming the offense even though they scored 31 points.

I haven't watched any SF this season so I can't comment on that
Well It's just the people that generally say Dak is Elite say Purdy is trash. I haven't watched enough other teams myself this season but at #2 was Mahomes I believe. I'd be hesitant to go that far saying Purdy over Mahomes on most seasons.

He's got 2 choices own up to his mistakes. Or point the finger at his players and lose the team in a matter of weeks.

Well wouldn't he alreaady lost the support of his players if he is coaching Dak like a Rookie instead of an 11 year vet? If the story is true?

This all stems from Schottenheimer "overcoaching" Dak Prescott by instructing the star quarterback to throw the ball away at the end of the game. Prescott essentially had two options on Dallas' final offensive play: He could have gone through his progressions to guarantee an incomplete pass or take one read and throw the ball away if a receiver wasn't open.
Again, the coach generally takes the blame.

Why wasn’t there a run in those packages in the last series?

And if there was, why did Dak ignore running the ball?

Also, what’s clear is that Dak did have TWO options, so it is his fault in a way, as he chose the worst option..

That being said, he did play well to get them down the field. But again, the defense also made the stop in the red zone, so they did their job.

I mean nothing else he can do.

But it does get old with him and Dak repeating that same stuff every week.

Like I said though, he has to speak and nothing else he can do
How many times has #4 said he would get better over the past 10 years?

Too many to count...
