Twitter: Joey Porter - Instant Impact

[Kwyn]

Nickel in this system is different. He has no home here.

Reddy and Speed playing due to injuries. Im not that worried about cb 5-6

Porter will ramp up played like 46%of plays today and be that guy who can play MEG and lock down #1 WR.

Nice MEG reference

[Kwyn]

He’s certainly not bashful

[CT Dal Fan]

Bland cant be here next year.
Post June 1st saves 13 million in 2027.

Cutting Bland opens cash to keep Porter.

[Teague31]

Bland needs to be moved to the slot or moved off the team

His dad was a legendary trash talker.

So I would be shocked if JPJ was bashful.

[darthseinfeld]

He’s certainly not bashful

He is his dads son

Alot of times it works out that way though

[Denim Chicken]

Got you fam

Nice. Good returns so far.

That’s true.

[TheMarathonContinues]

you really suck at playing stupid; which is kind of strange....

Your post makes no sense.

If that's the case shouldn't green bays corners have been making a bunch of plays last year?

I don’t think their corners are as good as Bland.

[TheMarathonContinues]

Good coverage doesn't matter at all if you can't make a play. If that were the case Chidobe Awuzie would have been the greatest corner of all time.

Awuzie is another who had solid coverage skills just couldn’t do anything else.

[3rdEyewarrior]

Bland is done.

Bland as never good at coversge. In his break out yeae, he got toasted by d k Metcalf and they had to put gilmore on him. He has all skills he benefited from Micah abusing o lines and a good d law shipping in with pressure. He actually has to cover now. Plus he only runs 4.52 which isn't very fast for a corner. M Lawrence runs that at 250.

[3rdEyewarrior]

Bland doesn't belong on Dallas Defense after this year.

He can play nickel for wherever he can find work next year.

Ferg is another one post June 1st save 7 million in 2027.

They must go.

He's better in the slot against number 3 recevers

[3rdEyewarrior]

He's soft and bad. But atleast he doesn't act tough on social media like diggs so I won't bash him too bad but he is a bum

He's ok. He's just not a starter unless he has constant safety help.

[Techsass]

I think he’s the same guy it just looks different without Micah here.

He's the same guy I saw in that Seattle game where Gilmore had to take over covering his man.
(Micah was playing in that game)

THANK YOU. people like to gloss over that game. That was all I needed to see to know he was a sissy that runs from competition. Dk was known for physicality and drama and bland wanted no part of it. Gilmore was never scared and put the clamps on him. Bland been done ever since that game

[MikeT22]

Bland is done.

Yep. He looked promising as a rookie and then had a breakout year with the record int returns. But that was primarily due to our solid pass rush that year. His injury didnt help and he has never been the same since.
