Gints on top of NFC east , who would have thunk?

It’s still super early.

The giants are no longer pushovers though. Not with a legitimate head coach running the show and with the talent they have on their DL.

Entering the season the East seemed pretty open and I'm not surprised to see the Giants there for right now. I'm sure these standings will change by the end of the season, and if the Cowboys can make strides defensively I certainly believe they have a good shot to claim the East.

who cares. It is a long season and no way do they stay up there.
I picked the Giants to win the division this year. Not now with losing their QB but I am still not surprised they are leading this bad division.
Bad division?it is what the NFL is.One week a team looks like crap, the following week they look great. This is the yoyo that is the nfl season. Make the playoffs and have good health. Nothing else matters.

Based on the Giants opening weekend of play and the moves they made off season, I knew that the Giants would be much improved under Harbaugh. He’s a legit coach.
For sure, but I figured they would struggle a little without Dart. Expected them to be good this year with Dart, Nabers, all those pass rushers, Harbaugh, and a run game with a pretty decent Oline, but when Dart goes down for the year, they wouldn’t be the same.

Could’ve gotten Harbaugh to Dallas….
He’s going to be a problem for a long time

Once again, they've beaten the Cards, Titans and Cowboys at HOME. The Giants stink. By the end of the season, they'll be around .500. Still pushovers
Stink? Not even a little love or respect here?

You do realize you are telling me that a stinky team beat your boys. Based on your words then, wouldn’t that mean that your boys must stink more….at this point. Right?

But just to summarize….we have beaten Dallas, 2-2, Tenn, 0-4, and Cards, 1-3

You have beaten Washington, 1-3 and Houston, 0-4.

Looks to me like we are pretty much traveling down similar paths. I don’t think your boys stink.

But, I will make this agreement with you if you agree….i won’t say your team stinks if you don’t say my team stinks. And, By the way, you might be right…we might end up around .500, but don’t forget, we have lost two of our best players this year- Dart and Burns. Not easy to fill those huge voids.

Deal?

The NFC East sucks.

NFCE is just not good. Jalen Hurts had 93 yards passing today 93!!!! :laugh:Dude is just not an NFL caliber passer of the football. He really should be playing RB. Dak has never throw for under 100 yards in a game he played the whole game in 11 years. There is no team in our division better than us. Certainly not the sorry Eagles. That doesn't mean we are good, just that they are all as bad as us...or worse...
I watched the Eagles/Rams game. The Eagles are horrible. The Rams were horrible for 54 minutes but still pulled it out.
You're right about Hurts. I know he's gone to 2 SB and won 1, but he is bad. He just seems reluctant to throw the ball and in this league you gotta let it fly fast. He has good receivers even today with Smith out. He's just bad.
Their OC is also horrible, just bad play calling.
And Siriani may be the worst of all.
They were up 10 with 6 minutes to play.
3rd and goal from the 2.
They got nothing on 3rd down and he goes for it on 4th down. He called 2 TOs on the drive so didn't have them at the end of the game when he needed them. Just horrible decision making.
I'm all for going for it on 4th down but sometimes you gotta be smart. These coaches like Quinn and Campbell and Siriani always go for it. Sometimes just take the points.
That stop sparked the Rams and gave them hope. They scored 2 TDs in the final 5 minutes and won the game.
Had Siriani kicked the FG, he'd be up 13 with 6 minutes left.
So even if the Rams did score twice (and they did), you'd be 1 point behind and a FG would win the game for you.
Instead he was down 4 with no time outs.
Just a clown show.
We can win this division, bad as we have been,

Impressive also considering not only have they lost their most important offensive player in Dart, but also their best defensive player for the year as well (Brian Burns, he of the 16.5 sacks last season).

They don't have the horses now to compete all year, but going forward look out.

The NFCE winner -- no matter who it is -- will be champ of the B league. Cannon fodder in round one of the playoffs.
