Yeah that the only thing that really bothered me. He was in prime position to make the best play on the ball to tend the game and he tried to to stat pat. Selfish play there by Hooker

Batting it down isn’t always safe either. If there are receivers who know they don’t have a chance, they would get in front of where the ball would be spiked and they can catch it off of the spike. I remember a Jax game where they won off of a spike and another game where the receiver almost caught it after a spike off of memory.

Allow your players to be in position and their receivers, no longer have the option to run free to the end zone sidelines which makes an interference call easier to call.
