Are we prepared for another mobile QB this week?

That’s the million dollar question. We’ve seen what happens when we let a mobile QB get comfortable, so I’m definitely not taking anything for granted. Daniels may be a rookie, but the dude can move. That said, I’m not too worried about it. Our defense needs to come out with a chip on their shoulder and make him prove he can beat us.

If we contain him, make him uncomfortable, and force him to beat us from the pocket, I really like our chances. If we let him run around all day, then yeah… we’ll probably be talking about his All-Pro performance by Sunday night. But I’m expecting our defense to come out and make a statement.

Most of the NFL teams now have mobile QBs....it is easier to count the ones who don't. Goff and Stafford type are becoming scarce... drop back QBs coming out of college are also scarce. Dak was a mobile QB his first couple years before his injuries and now he runs like he's got ten pound ankle weights on. And he visibly tries to avoid running altogether. Times have changed.

And are still winning most of the super bowls!!!!!

He is an undrafted rookie making his first road start on a short week. This will be the easiest offense that the Cowboys have played all season. I know Christian Parker is happy, on Thursday his defense is going to look like the Doomsday D and he will finally start looking like a future HC candidate that everyone was expecting

We should be OK

Difference is the Bucs are banged up. Emeka and Godwin are legit. Otton is their leading receiver. Run game is about average.

These are games you get up 14-0 and make him pass.

We likely will win. But I think it’ll be something like 27-24 late in the fourth and we score to put it away. I don’t see 9.5 underdogs with our defense

Bucs were foolish to go into the season w/ this dude as their backup QB. He wasn't very good in college. Not anywhere near NFL ready.

If we make him look viable, we need to scrap everything on D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EZE will get right in his face five times and miss, and Daniels scrambles for a first down. It's bound to happen.

This will be the Dallas Defense break out party. Book it. @GORICO Quad Titanium guarantee
This will be the Dallas defense same as usual party.

Years ago they use to say 6'4" was the prototype QB, because he could see over the linemen shoulder pads. If that's the case, then shouldn't all of our defense line be tall enough to see over the linemen shoulder pads? So, if any are wondering why running QB's always gives us problems, there's your answer. Our linemen, leaning forward to engage, aren't tall enough to see what's going on in the backfield. They don't know the QB is running until after he passes them.

Running QB's are our achilles heel and wide open receivers.
They key here with him being a rookie, can he play well enough to find them. Dependent upon our lack of a pass rush.

Though they got some pressure on Stroud the past game.

TB did only lose at home to GB by 3 points. Is that to say TB is better than they appear, or has GB really dropped off.

Green Bay has really dropped off. They have no running game, their o-line is beat up, and Jordan Love was barely completing 53 percent of his passes going into last week.

OL are 6'5 -6'8. Nobody is looking over those guys. Post 189. Not good.
