Stephen feels like Schottenheimer is the guy to get the team to the Super Bowl

[Doomsday77]

So that explains it. Because it was sneaky no one else was considering him as a HC candidate....that's how we got him! And all you Zoners thought our FO wasn't working behind the scenes. Shame on us all!

[dmq]

Stephen also though Dontari Poe would make our defense turn the corner.

[JayFord]

A SB with Schottenheimer?

Aint happening boss

[TequilaCowboy]

Whooaa, Stevie boy.....let's see him get at least to .500 record first. Hasn't proven a dammm thing yet. Come to think of it, just last week, his head was on a platter.

[Diehardblues]

He was a last ditch 2 min drive from being in a dumpster fire at 1-3.

[john van brocklin]

John, you're rough buddy.

I know the truth hurts now, don’t it?

[Hawkeye19]

Shoutout to Schottenheimer's sneaky resume.

He should now be dubbed “The Schneakyheimer”

[StuckMojo]

Stephen gonna be worse than his dad

[jazzcat22]

The comments that would have been made on here if it existed in 1988 and 1989.
Tom Landry's last year. And then Jimmy Johnson's 1st year and all his college coaches.

Would have been epic.

[Bullflop]

Stephen is all about saying whatever he wants to prevent any and all distrust within the fanbase.

[Creeper]

The way I am reading this statement is Shottenheimer is on the hot seat. The Jones boys are expecting Schottenheimer to lead this team to a run at the SB.

[phildadon86]

Say what you want, Shotty had a great game yesterday.

LOL.

Minus almost costing the team the game at the end of the first half. Sure.

Every Cowboys fan I knew back then knew what Johnson was doing in 1989, so your fantasy about horrible Cowboys fans is lame.

Also, most Cowboys fans felt bad for Landry when Jones fired him even though most of us knew it was time for him to retire.

I have no fantasy so this post is lame.
You know exactly what I meant and how fans would have been. Stop using hindsight.

[Coogiguy03]

Stephen thinks a bug could win us one

[PA Cowboy Fan]

I don't know what else one would expect him to say. If he didn't believe that right now then why keep him?

Because they don't want to pay him to do nothing.

[CrownCowboy]

And there is Exhibit A as to why this franchise hasn't won anything in 30 years.
