OL are 6'5 -6'8. Nobody is looking over those guys. Post 189. Not good.

Shoulder pads aren't six inches tall anymore. At 6'8" the OL pads will be at 6'2" feet. So if our DT's are 6'3" and leaning forward to engage...they can't see.

I feel the same way. Texans scared me because of personal and they have been in some games. Buccs are the worst team we will face all year. This should be a get right game for the defense.

We have the speedy players to control him. Up to Parker to do so.

Again its just so strange to read how everything is Parker and scheme this year with you and how you and I were the loudest ones saying how Eberflus couldn't do it without the talent last year.

Do you not see the trend that ALL of the DCs, ie Quinn(him being the most successful of the 4 mind you)Zimmer, Eberflus and now Parker are/were successful DCs to a degree except first time DC Parker, before Dallas and that the past and current players just aren't as good as you want them to be?

I guess I just can't get over how vested you are into believing how talented this year's group is.

Oh well, no worries. I'm gonna stay consistent as I was with Eberflus and say Parker deserves another year's worth of draft picks and free agents at edge, offball linebacker and corner.
Hit on one of each next year and then Ill judge Parker. Until that happens Im still giving him a pass on not being able to make chicken salad out of chicken **** with these obvious personnel deficiencies imo.

IF he were to turn this thing around with the existing personnel then that is more a reflection on his ability to coach up what he has than the existing talent of said players imo.

Oh we all agree. But Bucs are pretty banged up all over.

This isn’t playing an elite team who lost only their QB. We should be able pass on them without Winfield.

Emeka and Godwin are good but not elite. Offense just needs to do their thing and make Daniels pass

Most of the NFL teams now have mobile QBs....it is easier to count the ones who don't. Goff and Stafford type are becoming scarce... drop back QBs coming out of college are also scarce. Dak was a mobile QB his first couple years before his injuries and now he runs like he's got ten pound ankle weights on. And he visibly tries to avoid running altogether. Times have changed.

Yep. I was thinking about our defensive output so far and I was like "well... maybe its skewed because of the mobility factor" but no... that's kind of a pre-req for QBs now.

Unless they're just really, really good passers, they're running.
