Yikes, the only players with more than 1 pass defenses are Durant and Hooker and both of them missed like 2 games.



Bland has played every snap on defense and only 1 pass defense and zero INT's. This defense hasn't gotten not 1 INT yet. Durant was the closes one to an INT and he hasn't even played 2 full games yet.

Bland is getting beat like a drum. Is it technique? Teams are targeting Bland especially with Porter on the field.

BTW Caleb Downs and Reddy Steward was pretty bad vs the Texans too.


BTW our defense own's the longest streak without getting a interception. So far 7 straight games.

Part of it is scheme, part of it is that Bland has never been good at covering. He's a route jumper, not a hip pocket CB.

CP loves Cover zone Read.

So the corners are playing off man-cover with a cushion.

won’t see many INTs with that scheme.

So that's 7 passes defensed for the team. It seems like you could get more than that on accident. The Rams have two corners with 7 EACH.

It is still too early to bury CP, but so far its not looking good. The secondary looks confused too often
