The Big Christian Parker is over his head and needs fired thread *merged*

Guys I'm still worried. Between the master class he taught here and the way he's changed the culture during the preseason, I'm not sure how we stop him from being poached in the offseason to be a HC. Talk me off the ledge...
Bro. This is a legit question people asked in the offseason. “What if he is only our DC for one year”.

Goodness gracious

If we let him go, who on the staff could take his place, we're surely not going to look for outside help would we?
Isnt this what we all wanted,a young up in coming coach with new ideas,no more retreads? Well that is biting us in the *** now,i personally wasted someone like rex Ryan or pete Carroll, someone who actually did something.

so what. its not like our players are learning anything from CP. that dude is stealing money. if he gets fired after this year no one will hire him as even a DB coach.

At this point they can both get the hell going. This team still refuses to learn the lesson of those 90s teams. Run...the...dmn...football. And until they learn that lesson every season will end in failure.

His hard for to blame Parker when it was just as bad last year, and these guys that have been have had a coordinator for the last four years. Not a winning formula.

So Jethro suddenly has urgency. Makes trades and pays players but backs it up with a never interviewed for an HC job coaching hire and a rookie DC. Ok.

We cant continue with this Defense.

We will, but its going to cause damage in that locker room.

Disgusted, I thought CP would be better than this.
We can't continue not running the dmn football. Barely 40 rushing yards in the fourth quarter. It's no good. I've been saying it for years. The Cowboys should've been on the Todd Bowles plan tonight and they might have gotten a better result. Bowles not only protected his quarterback and his defense but he never let the Prescott-Lamb tandem get going. I knew he would double him and blitz the freak out of Prescott. He had absolutely NOTHING to lose (but maybe his job). And it worked. nearly 25 minutes of second half offensive futility...where they couldn't even get field goals...let alone touchdowns. They lost the TOP by 20 minutes. Exactly the game Bowles needed to play to squeeze out a win.
And two money players went belly-up (Ferguson and Bland). Game changing plays...both.

Embarrassing. One of the worst losses of the Prescott era.

I think we turn the defense over to Downs and let him be an on-field coach, but only if he promises to blitz on every play.

Probably Daks worst performance.

But doesn't change facts about this Defense being absolutely putrid.

Over 100 yards on missed tackles tonight alone.

Only team without an Int

Gashed for 265 yards rushing.

3 and 21 allows completion only rushers 3.

18.8% missed tackle rate

Giving up 11 minute drive opening series.

This Defense is actually worse than last years.

But he was clean and interviewed so well and was beloved early here

Did I mention he was also very clean?

I said “I hope he isn’t “fool’s gold” before the 1st game and gotten attacked. The guy is still in the learning process and I hope it is a mere learning curve.

I'm convinced now.

Christian Parker will never be it

Maybe Parker eventually grows into a decent coordinator. But this was a win now team, just like with schotty we decided to let guys just learn on the job, and it's hurting us.

Do we have a lot of talent, no. it's been weeks now. Like week 1 when the giants ran the same play 4 times in a row to beat us. Like the ravens running the same play over and over and us not reacting.

Part of play calling is reacting to what the other team is doing, and right now he looks like a deer in headlights.

When we brought Parker over not knowing much about him, I thought he would bring an element of toughness that those eagles defenses had, he hasn't. He looks clueless on the sideline, like he's in way over his head, and the team itself is still soft.
