Not trolling, legitimately wondering…can we salvage this season with this dude as the DC?? He looks completely befuddled and overwhelmed right now and doesn’t seem to be getting any better. Not only that, but it looks like the defense as a whole has (obviously) zero confidence, and might already be tuning him out.

I’m all for taking the time and getting through the growing pains if it seems like the product is improving, but I think it’s clear this defense is not improving and looks to actually be regressing somehow.

Don’t wanna hear about the injuries either- an nfl defense shouldn’t be giving up easy 3rd and 15+’s as routinely as this garbage defense does, among everything else.

Parker has the thousand yard stare down pat. There's no salvaging a season when you give up that many yards on the ground facing an undrafted rookie quarterback. You should know they would be heavily relying on the run, but when he did pass he carved us up. Imagine what a top 10 quarterback would do. The season is over and it's time to look towards the draft next year.

Even for the inexperienced DCs who later went on to become great DCs...I doubt they were THIS bad in year 1. It's hard to recover after you expose yourself and field a defense that is lost in technique, fundamentals, and scheme.

There were guys like Mcdonald and vrable and ben johnson there for the taking 2 years ago and jerry wanted his Binky coach instead. Unlike Nolan and Eberflus...at least he is young and a first time DC.

At this point you gotta look at the FO because this defense has been bad since Quinn left, it also seems the secondary can no longer get INTs since Harris left

Find something else to complain about. There is plenty to choose from.

But he should be fired. The defense is the best part to choose from since it's clearly the team's biggest flaw by far.

There's really nothing to lose in dumping him at this point. These guys need a grizzled vet to coach them up or at least change the attitude on defense.

Like last year with Flus we are truly screwed because we literally cant fire him due to the fact we have nobody on staff capable of taking over. Going to be a long year. We burned all the wagons for this inept kid C.P,....now were stuck.
