I tried to warn everyone. A lot of us did

It sure is, especially when all offseason they tell you that you are a hater because you are taking a wait and see approach. Then double down on being wrong.

It really is annoying.

Maybe instead of calling out the fans, call out the people who make you believe every year, they are the ones youre mad at.
We call out the fans. Guys like you gloat like we all ai t pissed. Jerry did this not us.

Anyone who is expecting the Cowboys to have an easy win last night was delusional.

And this is the problem with our fan base. Like the players, they look at the record and not the team that’s going on the field.

Our fan base took Tampa lightly so did the team and here we are.

Nothing has changed. The culture is the same.

This team was unprepared unwilling and just simply not good enough.

I don’t wanna hear excuses about 11 days. I don’t wanna hear excuses about injuries. Tampa was missing it starting quarterback.. the injury excuses stop there.

Our fan base is embarrassing. And I’m not expecting to see any of the guys on here today who love calling realistic fans names.

I’m not expecting anyone to eat crow about how wrong they were about this team.

As it stands right now, we have one of the worst defences in the league after investing quite a bit into it, our offence refuses to run the ball because our head coach in over his head, and our owner sees nothing wrong because he did the work to put this team on the field and this coaching staff together.

I hope you guys are in for a wild ride because this season might be the worst one we’ve seen in a long time.

And this all starts at Jerry, thinking he’s the smartest man in the room, trying to prove to the football world that he’s a football guy when he’s not.
Very well said, all true. And amazingly, the team could still win the division which looks like a collection of four sinking ships at the moment.

I think the Cowboys, just for this season, should change their name to the Steers. Vey fitting.

They were literally just a yard away from beating Baltimore.

When they don't shoot themselves in the foot the offense is good enough to beat anyone.
yard away?

LOL. Dude stop it.

If that is how you look at the Baltimore game, you are living in an alternate reality.

I had decent familarity with most all of the defensive draft picks and FA acquisitions except maybe Barham who I hadn't really looked at.

I did not think any of them offered immediate positive impact type performance that I thought was needed for this short opportunity window while Dak is playing well and not too old yet.

There was and continues to be an extreme sense of urgency to win now. NOT wait on picks to develop.
Let me say that again. NOT wait on picks to develop.

Those that feel ALL rookies need 3 years before ever contributing to success are the fans here that I strongly oppose.

And here we are.
AGAIN.
I'm guessing you feel as though the offense was blameless? 2/3 of the payroll gets a pass?

I haven’t looked at team stats but going into last night’s matchup, was Dallas’ D worse than Tampa’s O?

It’s a bad core, no dog, no leadership. I’d go listen to what coach JB said about these clowns on his show this morning.

If Todd Bowles gets fired, he needs to be our DC. He prefers his ice cream with sprinkles, M&M's, butterscotch, not just vanilla!
If I were Todd Bowles, I'd be completely insulted at the suggestion of working under our current HC, Ping Pong Parcells.

It sounds like it "was the 27th ranked defense against the 27th ranked offense". Problem is, put all the numbers aside. There is NOTHING this year's defense does well.

Jerry hired Schotty over Vrabel and Ben Johnson. Comfort over competence. We all suffer for it.
Technically, I don't believe either of them were interested KNOWING who the ownership consisted of. And on the flip side, Jerry wasn't interested because they didn't fulfill his 2 major requirements for a coach:
1. Puppet coach
2. Cheap.

Stroke my ego or no job.

This is the issue in a nutshell.
Jerry doesn't want a proven coach who may be praised if he delivered a SB (like Jimmy took the spotlight and the credit).
Jerry is like a jealous child. He wants all the credit.
Hiring an inexperienced coach like Shotty is perfect for Jerry. If we win, Jerry gets to stand up and take all the credit.
If we lose, Jerry has a scapegoat.
It's really sad. This once great franchise is now a laughing stock.
I got a story on my IG feed yesterday, it showed a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader with 2 very old, white haired women. The caption said "DC Cheerleader poses with 2 former DC Cheerleaders from the Cowboys last Title".
That's what we have become, a laughingstock.

Team focus, solid gameplans, mindsets, or lack thereof............that falls on Schotty. I don't see guys ready, I don't see the coaches ready.

Last night put on full display that it’s NOT a talent disparity, it’s a coaching issue. Weirdly, Bowles is also terrible and gave us a chance to come back by inexplicably going to a TD instead of the easy fg. Second half the only play that worked was the quick slant because Tampa had backed off. Dak looked confused, he was tossing ducks, fergie is responsible for most of Dak’s INTs, the defense couldn’t get a stop and when they did someone usually bland made some idiotic penalty away from the ball. It seemed like both teams were running the same plays over and over. If it had been the original tecmo bowl, neither team wouldve used all four play types. Ugly ugly and Tampa is horrible with horrible coaching too. I hope Jerry soaks in this clownshow he’s created.

The Cowboys Defense continues in their quest to be the living embodiment of a ‘Get Well’ card to struggling NFL offenses wherever they may be.
