Cowboys not making it to post season is by design

Let's face it, we're not going to post season. And it's by design. If Jerry wanted us to get to Post Season (and even better, Superbowl), you don't hire coaches and coordinators to learn on the job. If we win a game here and win a game there, great. If we lost a game here, and lose a game there, great... With the coaching situation as it stands today, I'm not going to let a win or loss effect me. If someone like Eberflush or Nolan was our DC, my post would be something different. I would be calling for their jobs but the Joneses chose to hire Parker to learn on the job, Post Season and Superbowl aren't even close to being on their radar (no matter what kind of BS Jerry tries to spew to try to make us believe that he wants to win).

Parker needs at least a full season to learn on the job. Getting upset about their losses this year is only going to effect you.

Of course I want us to make it to post season. Of course I want us to make it to Superbowl. Of course I want us to win the Superbowl. Of course it's designed for us not to be involved so I just choose not to let things like losses bother me.
Stopped reading at Super Bowl. OP can't be taken seriously.

This has all the makings of Jerry's epic all time fail. If we don't make the playoffs, and we don't have a good draft pick to show for it, that's about as bad as you can get.
you should be used to it. Garrett went 8-8 like 5 years in a row.

You don’t know Jerry very well do you. This is Jerry going all in for a SB because he’s closing in on 90.

I think you're overthinking this. Jerry & Co do want to win, and win now. They're just not very good at running a football team. This is more about delusion than design.

what the heck are you talking about tin-foil-hat guy

No, there is no doubting that the old man wants to go all the way, the problem is simply he is too cheap to hire the staff to do this for him. He spends his money on nice things in life and in football, he just doesn't spend his money on people that can win championships for him. It is as easy as that, and the fans who buy into this are his pawns on his chess board

I mean, what good is his Yacht if he hires a chef out of chef school to captain it?

LOL, you think Jerry is that smart? ...you think Jerry could not possibly be so dumb enough to put this shameful product on the field intentionally? Sorry man, he is that dumb and egotistical. You give him too much credit. I know you cannot believe such a man exists, who puts his ego and self absorbtion in himself. But Jerry is living proof. Well, barely living anyway.

art, is this rock bottom?
I don't think in terms of rock bottom because the GM is always the same and never changes his broken methods of football mismanagement. "Business as usual" best sums up the current state of affairs for our franchise. PT Jerry Barnum can carnival bark every season about making exciting new changes but it is business as usual with the same predictable one wild card win every 6-7 year results.

As the great Led Zeppelin said, "The Song Remains The Same". It's up to the fans if they want to continue to send our beloved fuhrer money via tickets, jerseys, and SWAG but I've been Jones sober for 15 years and I spend my sports dollars elsewhere on teams that hold their GM accountable.

Hey now, wait a minute, didn't we get an All World DT in Quinnen Williams for that draft pick?
