Two tipped passes. Int. Ever happen?

Dink has never been a ball placement QB. The videos are out there. Y’all all have seen them. I’ve pounded this board about his lack of accuracy for years. The stat stains defend him because they are clueless.
Yet he has one n of the highest QB completion rates.

Some how your assumptions are wrong

So the ball to fergi was eye level, ended up hitting his helmet i this k and bounced

He should have extended his arm and catch the ball. He didn't

This is not defense of Dak as he had a bad game for sure. But you picked on wrong throws to drive your agenda. There were so many other options.

Your t are on this was wrong.

Don't forget, Fergi dropped another easy pass that would have put us in 2nd and 2 inside redzone.
This is an agenda..? And what is "i this k" and "Your t"?

We had two tipped passes. Both were intercepted. Has this ever happened before? They were high but both should have been caught.
Ironically the week before they had 2 tipped passes caught by lamb and fumbleson. Guess it evens out

Right. Because talking about Dak means everyone else is totally blameless. Obviously.

Start your Ferg thread and Steele thread. We've already seen tons of comments about them..but stop complaining like somone yelled at you "embarassing!"... and start the threads.
The board is all over the place.....rightfully. I typically don't start threads, usually already out there for me, like a buffet. Lots of play and posts to chime in on.

If the ball is thrown low and the receiver makes a great diving catch, Daks percentage goes up. The placement was awful however. Completion percentage does not equal ball placement.

It’s been something I’ve noticed myself since his rookie year. He gets the ball close enough to the receiver for the receiver to make a catch and increase his percentage. There are so many times where the placement(and don’t get me wrong, this does happen to everyone from time to time) is just not great where a better placement would have resulted in a TD.

I remember a play back in his first or second year. Deep ball to an open Cole Beasley. It was behind him, causing him to slow down and allowed the defender to catch up and make the tackle before Cole could score. If the placement was in front of Cole and not behind, it’s a TD. Completion percentage went up, but it cost a TD on that play. I see that happen a lot with Dak.

Dak also CAN place the ball well(all of them can) and can throw some absolute dimes, but I wouldn’t call ball placement a strength of his.

Edit: here’s a different play to Cole. Completion percentage up, awful placement.

Yes. Some people have no clue what an "agenda" is. They think it's a person they disagree with.
I'm lost on the disagreement. My post would clearly absolve Dak Prescott of blame since Jake Ferguson did a piss poor job of catching a catchable pass.

I'm thinking drunk posting maybe..?

Of course it's "all over the place". It's what humans do.

Many people make the mistake of putting it all in one basket. There are myriad baskets.

It's just my opinion...if someone is unsatisfied with the content or subject matter...they have complete power to direct it in a more satisfying way.

I'm sure if you tried it you'd find that same type of criticism you have. And be happier with the state of things.

Not sure I would bother with this kind of logic.

Actually fine, SteveTheCowboy......no need for counseling, no need for checking feelings. What state of things would you be referring too?.......a bad player, a bad coach, a collection of bad players, a collection for poor coaching, a 2-3 team......help me out. The eye test has been working well. Always lots to use the board for a plethora of posts. We're in Monday morning QB mode. We all are.

Fat fingering on my n phone sitting in the airport.

Still. Besides the fat fingering.

The ball was innpefrct place for him to catch it.

Fergi screwed up
Okay. I will just assume there is not any alcohol involved.

What exactly did my original post state that says or even suggested that Jake Ferguson did not screw up? Explain what I said as it applies to your accusation.

Not meant for it to come across as that

No a alcohol
Just flight delays

The throw was late and wobbly. And if you pay attention, he waited way too long for Ferguson, as he already made his break. He had to “ensure” LB that was covering him was out of the play.

Just count the number of times Dak has thrown a deep ball that should have been a TD if it is placed correctly, but the receiver has to slow up and reposition. When he catches it he gets tackled rather than run free because the adjustment allowed the DB to close in. Dak's stats still go up because a completion and a lot of yards, but it was still a failure because it should have been an easy TD with proper accuracy.

with Dak, it’s often about how much he leaves on the table. The above pass to Ferguson, he technically should have thrown it right when Ferguson made the break inward, but he holds it until the LB is completely out the picture.
