The coaching is obviously the biggest issue. The Cowboys have enough talent on defense to play better than they have. You can tell the defensive players have no confidence. They don’t know what they’re suppose to do. Parkers Master class has failed miserable.

On offense and on paper, the team has more than enough talent to be a top 3 offense yet last night they were totally inept. Dak was getting blitzed on almost every play and the OC had NOTHING prepared to face a Tod Bowles defense.

Jerry’s build the best, plushiest training facility at the Star. Everything and anything the players could want. He coddles the stars and lets it be known the buck stops here. Well Jerry, since the buck stops with you and you’re THE problem what are you going to do?

For the fans, what would you do to fix the team at this point in the season? Is there anything? The Cowboys have become the laughing stock of the NFL so something needs to change. Defense gave up the most yards they have all season to an undrafted QB making only his 2nd start on a 0-4 team. As the stadium worker said and so accurately, “Embarrassing.” Dak knows it and is why he got upset because he’s frustrated there’s nothing he can do. Every player should be pissed.

I’m not one to give up and I’m not, but something needs to change or they’ll continue to be the laughing stock of the NFL.

A fan’s first inclination is to change anything or everything, simply because it can’t get any worse, right? Well, that’s a somewhat reasonable argument.

In the other hand, when Parker was hired he was pretty much universally expected to be a success. Is it Parker? The players? Roster composition?

If I remember correctly we have had five different defensive coordinators in 5 years. Yes this defense is epically bad. But are you REALLY going to fire the DC after only four games?

I would keep my hands off the steering wheel. Leave the coaches alone. Let them coach. Let’s see if anything changes throughout the season. Maybe they will get it together and maybe they won’t.

But 4 games is too small of a sample size to make drastic decisions. Let them ride this season out. But I would not be investing more draft capital on this defense. Let them figure it out, or not.

Bring in a whole new staff- a HC who actually knows how to manage the clock would be nice. But defense needs to change immediately.

Realistically, have a defense that blitzes the crap out of the opposing team. Play more man coverage in the secondary. Even if our secondary gets burned and gives up big plays, it is MUCH better than giving up 8 yards a pop and surrendering 39 minutes of Time of possession. This will also create more turnovers. Bend but dont break defenses are pretty much always what we have and they are terrible.

Second, invest premium resources in a good tight end. Ferguson is done. Unless they are going to try and get BSF involved, then this si what needs to be done this off-season.

Grab a running back in the draft. Someone with some pop and some speed. Javonte has not looked great at all. Blocking has been poor but he has also been bad

Also, sign the best LB in the off-season. Our LB are consistently terrible.
