Two tipped passes. Int. Ever happen?

We had two tipped passes. Both were intercepted. Has this ever happened before? They were high but both should have been caught.
Dude the Furgeson INT that sealed the game hit him right between the eyes. That was not high. wth?
it's never happened. dak is just grabbing some new stats and records.......he's dak good.

Dude hush. You didn't even watch the damn game. You're only here because we lost. Your pathetic! You're only allowed to troll here to pad CZ's stats. Go volunteer. Do something positive instead of being a loser all your life.

The throw was late and wobbly. And if you pay attention, he waited way too long for Ferguson, as he already made his break. He had to “ensure” LB that was covering him was out of the play.

Just count the number of times Dak has thrown a deep ball that should have been a TD if it is placed correctly, but the receiver has to slow up and reposition. When he catches it he gets tackled rather than run free because the adjustment allowed the DB to close in. Dak's stats still go up because a completion and a lot of yards, but it was still a failure because it should have been an easy TD with proper accuracy.
Dak = Tip Drill
CowboysFanInHouston must have all three of you on ignore since he's only gunning for my posts instead--which still does not make a lick of sense according to his own staggered words.

Somehow we're making a game where the defense, run game, and OL protection was atrocious Dak's fault.

Dak probably played at a C+ level last night. The rest of the team was objectively an F-.
Yeah, I agree. It's not a week to defend Dak at all but he was only "a" problem last night, not "the" problem. Both picks, especially the Ferg one, were passes that should have been caught. He did lead a 99 yard TD drive late. And the OL did a horrible job picking up Tampa Bay's blitzes while Schotty's playcalling against stunk.

Dak was off target way too many times last night himself, recall that short ball to Lamb that should have been a walk-in touchdown. But overall Dak played a game the Cowboys should have won with had the rest of the team not been such a raging dumpster fire.

lmao go do the little eddie scream.. just jump.....

If the ball is thrown low and the receiver makes a great diving catch, Daks percentage goes up. The placement was awful however. Completion percentage does not equal ball placement.

It’s been something I’ve noticed myself since his rookie year. He gets the ball close enough to the receiver for the receiver to make a catch and increase his percentage. There are so many times where the placement(and don’t get me wrong, this does happen to everyone from time to time) is just not great where a better placement would have resulted in a TD.

I remember a play back in his first or second year. Deep ball to an open Cole Beasley. It was behind him, causing him to slow down and allowed the defender to catch up and make the tackle before Cole could score. If the placement was in front of Cole and not behind, it’s a TD. Completion percentage went up, but it cost a TD on that play. I see that happen a lot with Dak.

Dak also CAN place the ball well(all of them can) and can throw some absolute dimes, but I wouldn’t call ball placement a strength of his.

Edit: here’s a different play to Cole. Completion percentage up, awful placement.

Can i ask you if you are or have been a coach? Player at a high level like college in the past?

Now you went from a specific play to a generalization of his career.

That pass to fergi, in fact both passes to fergi were in great position to be caught and the fact is he screwed up. The intercepted pass was eye level and in front of him and it bounced off of fergi. There is absolutely no denying t hat. Anything otherwise is a biased agenda driven drivel.

Now, stats tend to normalize over time and long periods and large samples.

He has thrown for over 37000 yards. If he is an inaccurate as you claim then over 1000s of throws, completions things will normalize. The fact, not biased views say otherwise. In fact it was shown he has highest ratings on small window throws, long ball and pretty much across the board around the field. All the stats support that.

Does he throw bad balls? Yes. He is not elite and I never claimed he was.

Do the recievers sometimes make circus catches? Yes but that's also true for every single QB elite or not. Thats undeniable. Do good recievers make good catches? Yes. Why else pay them a 130M contract.

If expectations are for him to be perfect and really tops with every throw then why ever pay at WR. Just draft them low, sign low end WRs and let the QB make pegectlynplaced throws.

You are obviously biased. It doesn't sound like you are Anything but a fan. You have zero, i mean zero proof of anything you claim about inaccuracies. Its nothing but an opinion.

Again, that intercepted pass to Fergi, was accurate, on the spot and Ferginplain screwed up. But given your bias you have to blame Dak and take that single throw into a career story and your view and your personal observations.

Again you gave 2 examples and made genralized comments. I can do that for every single QB.

You are welcome to your opinion.
You are welcome to your bias.
You are welcome to your perception.
Doesn't make you right.

No.
Chill
We are all upset about the BS we watched and witnessed last night
You falsely accused me of an agenda since my post clearly suggests Jake Ferguson, and not Dak Prescott, was to blame for the interception... but I am the one who must chill?

Dude. What came first? The chicken? Or the egg?

I'm done.

Typical CowboysZone.

Actually fine, SteveTheCowboy......no need for counseling, no need for checking feelings. What state of things would you be referring too?.......a bad player, a bad coach, a collection of bad players, a collection for poor coaching, a 2-3 team......help me out. The eye test has been working well. Always lots to use the board for a plethora of posts. We're in Monday morning QB mode. We all are.
All I said is you can direct the content yourself instead of complaining about it.
I'm going to start calling Steele the culprit .......every game, going forward.....never a game where he dominates at a point or two.. Dak name comes up more than an Andy Griffith rerun.......gonna get a lot of Steele and some more Fergie in on the Fall Guy action.

Dak played at a C+ level and still could have lead the team to a win if the defense could get stops.

SteveTheCowboy......I'm good. It's fine you have a suggestion on what I can do. Not necessary. Not complaining......actually having fun on the board today. Appreciate you help and consideration.......trying to get to 30K messages like you. It's all good.

Oh...thanks for informing me on my message count. I never really noticed.

I'm retired...and just have way too much time on my hands. I almost ALWAYS have fun here!

No need for thanks about the 30K, no bad intent was meant. I'm semi-retired, but off today, so I'm having fun too. It's all good and never personal as well. The mess we witnessed last night and the board never rattles me.......in the DMV....already been laughing with Commander fans and will be with Commander fans (friends & family), like every weekend.......good food, good drink, enjoying the games, but most importantly enjoy the fellowship and life. Most beautiful think to today.....SteveTheCowboy finding out about Cmac......and Cmac finding out about SteveTheCowboy.....We're good. Keep posting and keep pounding and laughing about the mess called the Cowboys.

...and they won if I remember correctly.
They won the bills game in overtime after an offside kick.
They lost that bears game by a couple of TDs and change.
38-18 Bears!
Monday night gave 5!
