I am really trying to understand our QB

And with a better QB we could actually compete for a championship which is actually the goal of playing. This is something in 11 years Dak hasn't done and hes had far better teams. He aint the one
30 years. What championship? What are you t talking about.
Jerry would not be able to win with mahomes. He would find a way to run him too

But go ahead point to Dak. Its the easiest thing to do.

Championship...seriously. how old are you

Nobody said 100% of the time. Dak was bad the first half. It reminded of a playoff game. He sucks the first half and then stat pads when we are down big.

Life is not fair, but you need to win these contests if you make 60 million per year and the other guy under center makes 1 million. I don't feel bad for Dak and the rest of the very highly paid offense.
Like I said he needs to win yesterday. He sucked. I don’t care how guys get paid. Schoon makes nothing and he still sucks. This isn’t about what’s fair or not. They are a bad team.

And yes if the Cowboys don’t score 7 on most possessions they will probably lose.

I can easily explain our QB, been explaining it gor 12 years now:
Look at your watch and note the exact time down to the second. Here in the east it's 7:59:03. If Dak looked at my watch at the exact same time as I did, he would have read 7:59.02. He's a tick behind.
It's the same when he reacts to what he sees on the field, a tick behind.

Dak, surprisingly, couldn't beat the blitz last night. Bowles' plan was to apply lots of pressure to disrupt any timing for Cowboys and it worked. Props to Bowles. Coaching and preparation matter. Of course, we couldn't expect the Cowboys to counter that with some screens, draws or a delayed releases from the backfield.
The part I am having trouble understanding is how couldn't dak beat the blitz while its something the are good at?

For 4qtrs, even halftime adjustments, nobody could figure out how to dail up some damn effective quick slants?

Any other time they are slanting pickens a million times a game like its freaking going out of style.

Ok one, this wasnt one of those 30+ games needed, two, because we know the defense has flaws, that makes it ok for dak to have screwups?

So if one team scores, and dak has to match that, and he throws an int, thats just fine?

We are talking about a game that wasnt even that out of hand, and you didn't even have to score 30 in.
You missed the point.

With this defense the offense se can never have a bad game and us having a chance to win.
Its the offense se or nothing. No chance.

Some teams win 17-9 type games. Niners. Packers. Detroit, seattle, Rams, pateiots......etc.That is not been the case in Dallas for more than 3 years.

Last night offense was bad. Dak was bad and we had zero chance. Literally zero chance.

I would love to see us win a 20-17 game someday soon and see you almost here combining the defense saved Dak. I eould love to see that

The bad part about Dak last night was that an undrafted rookie QB made more plays than he did to win the game. Dak is an 11yr vet that should have shown little man up.

Yes the defense failed, but the opportunities we did get, we had to punt after dak had one of many bad throws.

I cant believe he is an 11yr vet, and I watched Dak have such a worried or scared look on his face at times during the game, while the "one read and run" kid had the ******* smile on his face all night.

We sucked as a team last night, but this one is on dak in the grand scheme of things. A close game like this, at the end of the day, the ball is still in your hand, leaving your hand, based on the decision you make, that pings in your brain.

Tampa was almost just as bad, but atleast their QB (who looks like he was just called out of a high school 5th period class room to play QB for the bucs) out played dak.

I am really sick of dallas constant QB stupidity. The 20+ years between Dak and Romo, i dont know who was worse.

I have faith that our next 10+ year 4th or 5th round QB is sitting somewhere in a small college, will once again provide false hopieum and divide the fan base of supporters and non supporters.

I dont know if I have another 10+ years of mental for that. And you all know that is what's coming after dak leave, it never stops.

The undrafted rookie played well. But saying he made more plays to win the game is such a skewed point.

That rookie wasn't facing the same level defense that Dak was facing and vice versa.

Now ask yourself this.... if an undrafted rookie played against our defense the way he did, what do you really think Dak and our offense would have done to our defense?

Cmon man use common sense. Our offense would set league records vs our defense.

I am not defending Dak here, but there is no way anybody could watch that game last night and say with a straight face "this one is on Dak".

1. Did Dak allow over 250 yards rushing?
2. Did Dak completely blow coverages 40 yards down field?
3. Did Dak constantly commit penalties that extended drives for the other team?
4. Did Dak let balls that hit him right in the hands pop up for picks?
5. Did Dak drop a pick 6 that could have potentially tied the game?
6. Did Dak fumble a kickoff return?

Dak was not perfect by any means, but to say that he and he alone is responsible for the loss is just absurd.

I wonder was Dak's hand injured? I swear when he threw the ball it looked like the ball was a shot put ,The ball seemed heavy like vs a crisp throw if that makes sense,

yes this is what I have been saying. Shotty should have shut this goti crap down as it just gives the other team more motivation to beat them.
and apparently it doesnt motivate anyone on our team lol.
What made the whole goti thing even worse is dak bragging about it leading up to the bucs game, as if being favored by 8 or whatever it was, wasnt enough.

If I am a bucs player I'd be tired of hearing about that crap all week.

He grew fat and lazy just like Romo, no accountability no leadership no pressure to win. Just do the commercials, date the celebrities or whatever. Retire with a fat bank account. Cowboys culture.

Would prefer to go with a young guy at this point, he is what he is.
So you are saying dak will be the next cowboys QB to get pulled over on a dui? That would put the cherry on top.

I'm not exactly crisp today, but are you implying that those SB winning QBs are fragile?

You can accuse them of a few other things, but being fragile ain't one of them.
I guess we have different definitions of fragile…..they are guys who have had similar issues to criticism. Not sure what you mean then

where can i find this shirt it sums up prescott and way he as played for the last ten years.

You trying to understand the quarterback. While I'm trying to understand over 30 years of this itch....

You are wrong. He needs to win EVERY sunday, regardless of how the rest of the players play. "Dak or Die". Prescott has to come to the rescue every sunday or he's simply hot garbage. Fans have SO fallen for this nonsense. The Cowboys don't run the ball anywhere near enough for this pass-happy formula to work each and every sunday. Just go back and look at the games last year. An offense averaging over 30 ppg, with a QB whose QBR has been between #1 and #3 since 2023.

Prescott is the very LEAST of the Cowboys problems right now.
