I am really trying to understand our QB

Dak had a bad game, that was obvious. That can happen so I won't say anymore on him.

What I will speak on, and I will be consistant in saying this, but there has been something missing with this passing game all year, in both the wins and losses. Can't 100% put my finger on it, but it is like there is no desgin in the route tree these receivers run. It seems that our receivers at times get lazy in their assignments. We make a what looks to be easy receptions look so hard to get. I don't know, I won't pretend to know every in & out of routes & whatnot, but even dumpoffs and screens are timed slow and poorly.

I know people been praising this offense this year when we played against Baltimore and Houston, but it is not like we don't have alot of weapons on this offense and it seems we under-utilize the amount of talent we have.

It really is sad when you think about what this offense has to do. They have to be good 100 percent of the time…meanwhile Hurts can throw for 93 yards and have a chance at winning.
Nobody said 100% of the time. Dak was bad the first half. It reminded of a playoff game. He sucks the first half and then stat pads when we are down big.

Life is not fair, but you need to win these contests if you make 60 million per year and the other guy under center makes 1 million. I don't feel bad for Dak and the rest of the very highly paid offense.

lmao and this somehow makes the guy who got charged with something behind a strip club, cheated on his fiancée, and had a thing with Zeke. You got me.
It wasn't cheating after she admitted she expected to have Dak sign a prenuptial to where she would get half of all his earnings if they ever got divorced. At that point, she pretty much ended that relationship, so no, you can't call Dak a cheater if he chose to talk with another woman afterwards. As for the rest, you're just making up crap as usual. King of lies. Anything for defense of your Chokomo..

You still have a chance with him. I hope you have success with him.

I just don’t even want to hear about Dak.

Dak is way down the list of our problems.

The defense is our top 5 problems.

Go let Chokomo move in with you. His wife don't want that loser anymore. He could use some full body rubs from you. Allow him to destress. Lmao
LOL, what are you going to do when the choker gets traded? You are a more of a dak fan that a Cowboy fan. I wish you luck with him.

Way to hold Dak accountable.

But unfortunately since you were the one screaming "Get ya money Dak!", I think Dak could have 5 more games like this and you'll be running interference for him.

And if you're HONEST, Dak has had maybe 2 complete good games. He had one good half against the Texans/Giants (one game)...he's been hot/cold all season. As I said, he's not a bum but when you need him most you can count on him to let you down. $60mm, overpaid and can't live up to the contract you advocated for.
I’m not holding Dak accountable he’s a grown man. At the end of the day he played poor. That’s how I judge him. What he gets paid is irrelevant to me. Good is good and bad is bad. He was bad. As far as complete games I don’t care about that either. I need solid performances. I don’t care how you start in a win. In a loss I do.

Yes it does because the same guy is calling the shots. As long as Jerry insists on being GM then there is a connection all the way back to the late 90s.

You are just grasping at excuses because you ate the cheese yet again.
What excuse did I give? And yes I thought we made solid moves this year. At the end of the day you can pretend to be this elitist but you’re right here with the rest of us eating cheese. You are no better.

The bad part about Dak last night was that an undrafted rookie QB made more plays than he did to win the game. Dak is an 11yr vet that should have shown little man up.

Yes the defense failed, but the opportunities we did get, we had to punt after dak had one of many bad throws.

I cant believe he is an 11yr vet, and I watched Dak have such a worried or scared look on his face at times during the game, while the "one read and run" kid had the ******* smile on his face all night.

We sucked as a team last night, but this one is on dak in the grand scheme of things. A close game like this, at the end of the day, the ball is still in your hand, leaving your hand, based on the decision you make, that pings in your brain.

Tampa was almost just as bad, but atleast their QB (who looks like he was just called out of a high school 5th period class room to play QB for the bucs) out played dak.

I am really sick of dallas constant QB stupidity. The 20+ years between Dak and Romo, i dont know who was worse.

I have faith that our next 10+ year 4th or 5th round QB is sitting somewhere in a small college, will once again provide false hopieum and divide the fan base of supporters and non supporters.

I dont know if I have another 10+ years of mental for that. And you all know that is what's coming after dak leave, it never stops.
I don't know man. I watched two highly paid players...Bland and Ferguson both crap the bed in the moments where they could've made a real difference. Prescott can't save the day every dnm week. He has been in the top 3 in QBR since 2023 when he's healthy. He is the least of the problems this team faces. The VERY least.

Run the dmn football!

Why is this so hard for coaches and fans to understand? The "Dak or Die" offense is going to meet with the same failure that it has before now. You are NOT going to make a living throwing the ball 45 to 50 times per week. Only ONE quarterback has really done that over the last ten years and that's Mahomes. Over four games Prescott had ONE interception...a throwaway that happened to not make it to the sideline...versus 8 touchdown passes. His QBR was 2nd/3rd.

If Prescott played for Shanahan in SF he would probably already have a ring. Why? Because they are a run-heavy, run-focused team that doesn't need Purdy to throw 45 passes per game to win. It's the same run-first offense that allowed Garropolo, of all people, to reach a superbowl.

Dallas is rushing at 81 yds/game vs. their opponents 168 yds/game. A capacious chasm that illustrates how this offense is currently lopsided. The last three games had Prescott throwing 40 or more times. Purdy has only ONE game where he's even over 30.

Every game is a shootout that Dak must save or he needs to go. That's where we are. We should admit it. We should also understand that the Pickens-Lamb turf show is NOT how this team will reach a superbowl. The 90s team understood this. The coaches did. The fans did. Today? It's like no one remembers how it was done back then.

Exactly. Aikman had bad games also. This game reminded me of the game against Atlanta, 1999 week 2 after we had just beaten Washington in overtime. Aikman played worse than this, and if I'm not mistaken he's in the Hall of Fame.
Exactly. These guys hold Dak to this unrealistic standard. He sucked. It happens.

I have said it before and will say it again.
Dallas defense will fix any QB.

Imagine Dak, CD and Pickens playing against our defense.

They had an 11 minute drive. They converted 3rd and 21. They had 240+ yards rushing. We had 50.

Now with that said, Dak had a bad game last night. No doubt.
And everyone chose to have a bad game at the same time. Fergi was awful. Turpin sucked. And we could only muster 50 yards on the geound

You'd be worried also knowing that you'll have to put up 30 point's or more to win before the game even begins:facepalm: Dak is about the only QB in the whole NFL having to deal with this . Not just every game but every season,,,That kind of pressure is crazy. I have only respect for Dak when it comes to this .... Many other guys would had cracked under this pressure by now.......SAD.....Sad in deed...Mahomes-Allen-Jackson doesn't have this pressure.
Excuses!
