Well, they might as well be on here with us for all the impact they have. lol

The problem is there is no penetrating Jethro. He doesn’t care about the criticism. It’s not going to deter him. Winning isn’t the top priority.

There impact is we as the fans are aligned with them being highly critical. Problem is we still love our Cowboys. And why it’s a love/hate relationship.

Most Fans here don’t read the local papers, listen to local radio or watch local tv coverage. All they see is national coverage or coverage owned by Cowboys.

We see post game interviews with reporters fawning over Jerry to ask softball questions like 'what do you think happened tonight' instead of 'what have you done in the last 31 years to give the fans any hope that you know how to fix this'.

The press act scared to ask any adversarial questions. Every post game and press conference should be very uncomfortable and embarrassing for him.

I’m not familiar with any of those reporters. It’s not who I read, listen to or watch in local media.

Do you have any names, networks, etc.? My hunch it isn’t the local beat writers who do hold his feet to the fire.

He only hired Bill after 3 straight 5-11 seasons and needed or wanted a new stadium.

Just like after 1-7 he fired Wade.Thats what it will take to bring about a potential better hire . But Jethro still isnt getting totally out of the way.

Most believe Stephen won’t operate in same manner. First of all he will have two siblings with equal share to be accountable with which his dad never had . Someone else or partner to answer to.

Most likely he becomes Pres and they hire a GM and begin operating like a more normal franchise. Which doesn’t mean we still couldn’t become like the Browns or Jets.

Remember this was their dad’s dream to become a celebrity football guy. They’ve just been along for the ride.

Most all of the criticism are through outlets he doesn't have to read or listen too. What we need are the guys who ask him direct questions at press conferences to grow a pair. Jerry has never had to deal with much face-to-face adversity. Thats why he loves pressers. I listened to the guys at the local radio station give him a tough question and he lectured them about how he didn't take time out his day to be spoken to in that manner. He doesn't like confrontation and very few actually confront him. Thats why he is so comfortable and finds his time around the cowboys so enjoyable.
