Dak talks about his frustrations after the Bucs lost

Cowboys are lucky to have Dak. He’s the only one giving them a chance despite the utter futility all around him.

Let me be blunt.......your obsession/hate for Dak makes any debate regarding him with you a waste of time. Nothing I say will change that....I'm done.

I'm not trying to make you angry or get into a heated debate. Like I alluded to in post #8, Jerry likes #4 because he is good enough to keep the team relevant and competitive, but isn't good enough to get the team to a Lombardi.

That doesn't mean #4 should be worth $60 mil a season. A contract like that should be reserved for QB's who bring you a better chance at a championship and #4 (in my opinion) isn't that kind of QB.

It’s the coach. Dak is an 11 year vet so he should know better sure but the coach leads by example and has most likely told them this in meetings. Schotty doesn’t understand Xs and Os. He looks at win record and says “oh free win!
100% ......any coach has to know the pulse of his team in preparation for their next opponent.

If I may...it's likely very little you CAN say to address the direct question.

We know he has stats, some "good guy" awards. We know the defense sucks, Jerry sucks, Rowdy sucks.

But what has he accomplished for the Cowboys TEAM.

It would appear even the "leadership" designation is in trouble.

That's exactly what I was asking, but it seemed as though it was taken as an attack.

Seems like the scheme wasn’t getting guys very open in that game. Dak was throwing darts into tight coverage. Thats usually when you get the tip INT’s

this^^^^^^ 1000%
This is a coaching issue........he has to catch it
So it's a coaching issue that #4 thought all he had to do was just show up and he would be able to beat an 0-4 into oblivion?

Yeah, I guess I can agree that the coaches should be keeping the players mentally grounded and focused, but we're talking about a veteran QB in his 11th season. He's experienced enough that he should have known better, without having to be reminded by the coaching staff not to takes teams lightly.

You have to remind rookies and maybe 2nd and 3rd year players to keep their head out of the clouds, but you shouldn't have to remind an 11th year vet.

This team doesn't have no real leaders.
