He's injured but everyone at camp stated how much he struggled the few days he was healthy and able to practice in training camp. The prevailing thought was that he clearly was not ready. Looking at how things have played out, its hard to imagine him being any worse than what we've seen so far from the secondary.

Missed a chunk of camp early with a groin injury.
Injured his shoulder in Saints preseason game and was placed on IR.
He was eligible to return for the Buccaneers game but they haven't even opened the practice window for him so unless there's a rash of season ending injuries at the position I'd guess he just a stash for this season as he looked adjusting to zone in the 2 preseason games.

I expect them to bench him because he is playing so poorly. You think moving him opposite Porter is going to make him better? Opposing QBs are already picking on him. Once Porter plays they will only pick on him more. At some point, even the Cowboys coaches are going to realize Bland has been a huge liability. And yes it will Durant because that's who was playing before he got injured. Basically, they have no one else.

Bland got beat for 3 rec vs the Bus. One was to Ebuka after slipping after having to cover way to long.
Another was a zone coverage breakdown unless you think it's normal for a CB to be on an island on a deep route where the receiver has an inside/outside option.
Deion would have gotten beat on that play!
