This organization is so unlikeable

I saw it on Facebook, but he said he wasn't even a fan. Also apologized. Didn't say Dak fired him. He got himself fired. What would you do if you had a contract with the stadium and one of your employees jeopardized that contract and the jobs of others?
He wouldn't have been fired or even known about if Dak didn't put him on blast on social media. Dak most certainly got this guy fired. All Dak had to do was ignore the comment and keep walking to the locker room.

It was posted while Dak was still in the locker room, maybe 10 minutes after the game was over. What got him fired is Dak running up to the Cowboys staff member who then confronted the guy. Otherwise nobody would have known who this guy was because his face wasn't on camera.

How much do you need to know someone. Some actions are enough. I disliked TO the moment he knelt on the star after making a touchdown for the 49'ers. I disliked McFlabb the moment he was classless and Said the better team did not win tonight when the Eagles lost to the Cowboys.
I hated Eagle fans the moment they cheered Michael Irvin's injury. Forget It. I hated them before that.

The whole premise of this is wrong. You can use many more objective adjectives, maybe we all are just dumb. Is that possible?

Easy to say...that was a reaction, not like he planned it. He kept walking, not like he stopped, pointed at him and yelled, fire him! Regardless of Dak's reaction, that idiot got himself fired, I don't know why you guys don't get it, other than the hatred for Dak. A hatred of a football player, by a bunch of grown people that keep coming back, no matter how much they hate everything having to do with "their" team.
I get it, " I've been a fan for life and I have the right to crap on my team every minute, every day".. yes you do, just don't forget to wipe! Lol.
Good morning! Cowboys are embarrassing, Arch pulled a Dak! Gonna be a great day! Lol

Actually I miss about 1/2 of them because they don't deserve my time and it's been that way for a while now. And I don't pay for cable, etc. so Jerry doesn't get anything from me other than deserved abuse.
Good for you. I wish some other fans would don't he same. I watch, because I enjoy the game, the banter and everything that comes with it. If I didn't enjoy it, I'd do what you're doing. I've done it for other teams on other sports. The Cowboys are the last one....hanging on by a thread. Lol

Ok...you win. He got him fired...good. on the clock, in a restricted area, representing his employer and putting his coworkers jobs at risk....he deserves it. And Dak is a spoiled brat, that happens to be your QB.
You're right the guy was on the clock representing a company and should have kept his mouth shut.
What I got to laugh about is the game was that bad that the guy just couldn't contain himself and had to voice his opinion even knowing the possible consequences.

That said Dak makes 60 million a year and for that amount of money he should be able to take a little heckling.
He's a stone punk for escalating it should have just walked into the locker room with his tail between his legs where it belongs.

I’ve been a fan of this team for over 40 years and I’ve never been more embarrassed than now and it has nothing to do with wins and loses.

No matter what happened on the field there were always players that you knew were good guys, played the game the right way and actually cared.

There is nobody on this team like now.

Maybe it’s a sign of the times and just the way the League is now but it’s quite obvious that the players don’t care about fans and, in fact, actually have disdain for them.

You have an owner who threatened to fire a radio host because he had the nerve to ask him a tough questions; this mindset has permeated down to the players. Two years ago, Diggs told a reporter “Deez Nuts” when his effort was questioned, and rightfully so after refusing to get his nose in there and tackle a guy running upfield, acting like a adolescent child. They drafted a DL who said that he didn’t even like football, he just likes to hit people. They traded for a guy, Gary, who after a game, is jumping around, swearing walking into the tunnel after finally making a few plays while his play has been pedestrian since he got here.

Then you have Dak. Here’s a guy who it should be easy to root for. From his meager upbringing, to his brother, to his injury, to being the starter of the Dallas Cowboys, it’s now obvious that he’s just like all the rest. While his play on the field has always been up and down, the one thing you could say about him was that he was a good guy,

Not anymore.

Leaving his personal life out of this, the idea that he actually told a security guard to get rid of someone who uttered the word embarrassing to him and actually stared the fan down while trying to be a tough guy, is just the icing on the cake. I get it, in the heat of the moment, directly after a tough game, you might not be in the best mood, but it didn’t stop there. He had time to shower and use time during his post game presser and actually went after the guy again; doubling down on his mistake. And add to the fact the organization obliged their pampered “star” quarterback, it speaks volumes of the culture rot imbued at The Star.

The whole team is full of bums, thugs, losers and quitters.
In the end it'll be Dak and the guy meeting which will get him his job back, another feel good story lol

That is incorrect. Whatever the culture is at the top of any organization will spread its way throughout the entire organization. And one thing that no one can overcome is a bad culture. Championship teams establish a winning culture. Hence, when Jerry bought the team it didn’t take long to establish a winning culture because it was clear that winning Championships was the priority. Jerry killed that culture because he wanted to win on his terms.
I agree to a point. That's why I said Jones are responsible for the culture "to an extent".

At the end of the day though. You, me, Prescott and the rest of the gang are individually responsible for our attitude and what we contribute to the culture.

Leaders lead. They set the tone and create the culture. Yea, the deck is stacked against them in Dallas with Barnum and Bailey Jones at the top and a winning attitude doesn't always equate to actually winning without the entire organization on the same page but the guys in the locker room have nobody to blame but themselves if winning is not their primary goal.

I agree, but I'm sure his initial reaction was just instinctive. He's a restricted area, a comment like that, in that place, probably caught everyone off guard.

Although I agree with you, I think we're taking his firing a bit too serious. From my experience, your typical low level unarmed security guard is around the same level as team leader at Burger King. Or bouncer at a bar. It's not like someone's career was ruined.

Guy has a family to feed. QB should take the high road and not let innocents get hurt by saying get that guy outta here. Guy put himself in that position to be fired; Dak should've taken the high road. Both can be true.

Even if you watch over the air, you’re supporting Jerry.

Dak was frustrated because he knows there’s nothing he can do to help the team win when the defense is the NFL’s worst for 2 years now. The worker is probably one of the haters here so I’m glad he was fired.
