Cowboys still haven't recovered from Parsons trade yet

That female poster you're giggling with would never agree to a ban bet about that accusation. That's the real lol.
Right, right….

Just like when claimed Tet McMillan wouldn’t see 1,000 yards as a rookie.

Then, after getting your card pulled you start whining “Buh, that’s unfair! Everyone is wrong sometimes!”

Or that Schoonmaker was going to be a top TE…
:lmao2:

She hasn't agreed to the ban bet as predicted. Another deflection. Just wanted to get that on record. Now back to timeout

When players are traded for draft picks (I know we got some players) the entire transaction can't be evaluated 14 months later. Judging the defense post Parsons also includes a lot of rookies and new defensive coaching staff.

For the record, the Cowboys won the trade. Getting rid of his contract was a good thing. And having him on the team now wouldn't have made much difference. We weren't significantly better with him.
How can you say that when the team is terrible at stopping the run and even worse at getting to the QB which Micah was constantly doing? Dallas is not better without Micah, they took his potential salary and paid his like Bland, Clarke and Gary.

I see why Jerry believes that every dumb decision he makes is right because some fans validate him.

Super Bowl? NFCCCG?
Did the team make those games?

Poster 1: We had a bad defence in one season when Parsons was on the team.
Poster 2: Yes. But what about the other three seasons he was on the team?
Poster 1: [Ignores question because the answer is that the defence was much better in those seasons]
Poster 3: But how did our defence do in the games that Parsons (or the team) never played in?

What kind of stupid logic is that? Would you want to have Myles Garret on your team even though the Browns are perpetually ****** and have never won the Super Bowl with him on their defence? Obviously you would. Incredible defensive players make your defence better. Parsons was an incredible player that made our defence better. Without Parsons, our defence isn't as good as it was when he was on it. You don't have to twist yourself in circles to avoid the truth. You don't have to like him. You can be happy he's not on your team. But it's an objective fact that the defence was better when he was on it.

Theres more than enough talent to have a middle of the road defense.

Downs
Thompson - is a nice pair of safeties

QW
Clark
Ogbonnia - are strong inside

JPJ
Durant - are good at cb

Barham
Overshown
Winters - with Barham this group can be good at lb

Gary
Lawrence
Eze
VM - should be enough to generate a passrush with our interior presence.

Im not going to mention depth or disappointments, because they are all disappointments now.

When every player regresses or doesn't live up to his potential it looks real obvious we don't have the right coaching in place.
This right here. ^ There is enough here to field a respectable defense. It's the coaching and the scheme that's bad.

Is it the 3-4 scheme or would the 4-3 be better.
The Cowboys really use a hybrid scheme so it doesn't matter. Whether the edges are DEs have their hands in the dirt or are stand-up OLBs is not the issue. It's how the whole unit is coached. Poor communication, guys not being where they should be, guys making mistakes, tackles being missed. It's Football 101 and this team can't handle the basics.

Cowboys won the trade to the tune of bringing in a bunch of guys who still havent matched Micahs production and never will.

Yall just eat up anything Jerry feeds you.

We are one of the worst in the NFL at getting to the QB, cant force a turnover, and STILL cant stop the run.

What did we win exactly? If by winning you mean getting worse, then yes. We definitely won.
We definitely got worse for now. But what did we win with Micah? He was misused here and he only wanted sacks.

Packers defense without the great Podcaster made bucs offense inept. But we made daniels look like prime Mike vick. If the takeaway is we miss micah nothing can save you.

Looking great today as well. But hey. Can't talk logic with micah fangirls

The good news is. I think Malachi Lawrence looks pretty good. It’s gonna take a season or two to really see the fruits of that pickup though

It’s not just Micah. It’s also Lawrence and Jourdan Lewis too.

The Cowboys decided to get rid of all their foundational defensive pieces and totally rebuild.

So far they have failed miserably at rebuilding the defense.
Jourdan Lewis was not a foundational piece of anything
Lawrence was a solid guy and that is all
