Fired and replaced by who? His best cornerbacks are not playing. His best linebacker is a rookie. Overshown is out. He's minus a starting safety. You should be far more worried about Schottenheimer than Parker at this point. I never wanted Parker over Daronte Jones but he has excuses. Schottenheimer does not. He has a boatload of offensive talent that he's mismanaging. Ferguson should probably sit at this point.

There’s no sense in firing him (unless he criticizes the organization) mid season.

If the scheme is the problem you can’t just simply install a new one now.

Parker has been horrific, but firing him might just very well make things even worse. Even if you do it after the season, that’ll be six DCs in six years.

The defense in the game against the Bucs was by far the worst we've seen this season and it hasn't been good in any game but one game (especially with several players out) doesn't erase the incremental improvement there has been.

I believe that we still have too many holes on defense to compete with all the players out with injury. We definitely need another linebacker in bad way.

TALENT TRUMPS ALL!!!!

HOW CAN WE BE DOING WORSE WITH MORE TALENT.

That would mean the coaching and culture actually could be more important in our unique situation then just throwing talent at the roster
