How to move forward at qb?

The only requirement is we MUST draft our next QB in the 1st or 2nd round. The numbers don't lie - this is your best chance at success.
Thats the problem, we have a highly paid qb that defaults back to his draft position. He is a 4th rounder for a reason.

Dak doesn’t choke, he’s played in an awful division for years, with much superior talent. The guy literally has the best WR combo in the league at this point. Jerry had done everything to keep consistency around this guy.

He’s been here 12 years and he’s always had problems against zone defenses. Tampa’s defense gave him fits. His whole first half of his career, because of Zeke and this OL, Zeke was seeing the majority of stacked boxes in the league, so his WRs were getting 1-on-1 matchups all day long and that makes decision-making easier.. He had absolutely horrible stretches of play when the talent on his side of the ball has been average, meaning he never carries a team.

The type of blocking guys like Herbert or Burrow get are nothing like what Dak had the fortune of playing with.

Burrow dragged a bad offensive line to the Super Bowl.

• 70 Total Sacks: Burrow was sacked 51 times in the regular season (leading the NFL) and 19 times in the playoffs. No quarterback in NFL history had ever reached a Super Bowl while taking 70 sacks in a single year.

We cry if dak doesn't have perfect protection. We isn't me.

Tony Romo can't shine Joe Burrow's college cleats. Please put some respect on Burrow's name. If he had the ownership and support that Romo had - yes, it's that bad in Cincy - then he would have won the SB he got his team to. Romo is a choker who can't get past the divisional just like Dak.
THIS!

Plays like a 4th rounder when you need him.

Paid like the #1 overall pick…

There is nothing more irrelevant than football stats.

Its crazy that you call football stats irrelevant, because the last time I checked, football stats are used to determine:

1. Heisman Awards
2. Drafting placement
3. Contract negotiations, bonuses and incentives
4.All Pro and MVP selections
5. Hall of Fame inductions

Which one of these situations are the stats irrelevant?

Good point, part of the reason we neglected the defense is we build a Dak friendly offense which requires a #1(a) and #1(b) receivers. So their contracts count with his, in a way.

Give any top 5 qb daks offense and they take you to the promise land.

That may be true, but which one of them are taking anyone to the promise land with a 30 to 32nd ranked defense?

I can't wait to see the list you provide.

2016 till now, we would of won some superbowls if we had an actual Top 5 qb talent at the position.

Exactly. At the end of the day, Trent Dilfer has a ring on his finger and his name in the history books because he didn't turn the ball over and ruin his team's chances. Dak turns into a total deer in the headlights when the lights get bright. He's had top-tier rosters, elite wide receivers, and solid defenses, and he still chokes in the Wild Card round at home. The guy couldn't win a ring in February or a ring in marriage

Believe it or not, Dak has put up top 5 production this season and last season with the league's worst defense both years. Its mind boggling.
