Tony Romo can't shine Joe Burrow's college cleats. Please put some respect on Burrow's name. If he had the ownership and support that Romo had - yes, it's that bad in Cincy - then he would have won the SB he got his team to. Romo is a choker who can't get past the divisional just like Dak.

Finding Romo and Dak was not lucky, it was unfortunate as it allowed Jerry to "hang around the rim" despite neither guy having what it takes to win even a Divisional Round Playoff game despite both having a 13-3 one seed. Those two QBs have helped set this franchise back decades because they are both fool's gold.

I agree with everything you posted here. But you said something about "one who need help around him to win". That goes for every single quarterback in the NFL.

For example.... Matthew Stafford is considered elite, yet he didn't win his first playoff game until his 12th season in the NFL. Why was that?

Mahomes is a GOAT quarterback. He miss the playoffs last season. For those who say, it's because he got hurt.... before he got hurt, the Chiefs record sucked. Even GOAT quarterbacks can't win without help around them.

The whole "need help around him to win" goes for every quarterback in the league.

The only QB that’s going to be able to overcome the Jerry factor has to be a first pick in the draft, no brainer type like Peyton Manning.

That’s unlikely to happen even if you get lucky and get the top pick in a year when that player is available. Trevor Lawrence, as one example, is a decent Qb but wouldn’t be able to overcome the stench that permeates that organization.

Who is finding the next QB? Jerry? His kid? Unless they get a big time HC in here that can develop them properly, the “drought” is gonna easily push FORTY years at least.

Its not about the last loses and if they were because of Dak or not. Clearly the Defense sucks, but Dak ain't the solution either, he chokes too. The Cowboys reality is, as the #1 best paid player in NFL if your team takes 30 points per game, then with the supporting cast you have at offense you make 31, otherwise why have you?

It's not about benching or firing Dak right now or next season, it is about finding his replacement now (next draft) to start preparing the Team when Dak's contract expires. Can Dak negotiate a new 4th or 5th or whatever number contract we are now? yes... as a BACKUP QB and much lower salary to better use that $ on Defense players and let the new QB take the Team. As a backup QB Dak can stay in the Team until he is 45, 50, 55 or reaches the retirement age of 65 I don't care.
