How to move forward at qb?

Burrow on this team would be on another 7 win team just like Dak was last season. Im not disputing your argument on the better arm talent, but Burrows isn't taking anybody anywhere with this defense on the other side.

My problem with dak is he seems to always be a tick late on his throws and thats why he throws fast balls, he doesnt seem to know how to lead a receiver and thats a problem. So many ints are from fast balls or late balls and these WR’s know it, ive never seen a qb throw so many damn high balls that get these guys killed. He throws a couple better balls and we probably are 5-0 with this bad defense. Many opportunities to put teams away in the 4th yet we go 3 n out when it’s time.

I respect it. But Burrows has the same level offensive weapons and a better TE.... A better defense on the other side of the ball.... he does have better arm talent than Dak, so with all of that said, why isn't he 5-0 with the Bengals the way you believe he would be with the Cowboys?

Im not understanding.

Because he probably puts the game away before counting on our defense to make a critical stop in the 4th.

Its not like he has to lead the offense to scoring more points than Dak has to. So if Burrows has to score less points, why do the Bengals currently have the same amount of wins as the Cowboys?

You said Burrows would be 5-0 with Dallas who has less overall offensive talent and a worst defense than the Bengals.... but Burrows isn't 5-0 with better offensive talent and a better defense....

That math ain't mathin my guy.....
 
I'm still curious about the people who keep pointing to the defense, why they don't think we shouldn't allocate more money there than at the quarterback position? That is if they are saying, No quarterback, could win with this Defense.

Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, no pass rush, no passes defended, no passes blocked at the line of scrimmage, no 3rd down stops, no 3rd and forever stops, no open field tackles, lots of missed tackles, no visible adjustments on either side of the ball, problems with time of possession (30th), no interceptions at Week 5 (32nd), rushing yards allowed (32nd). Why are we talking about Mr. Prescott right now and again?

Because dak aint your qb my guy. Thats the math.

Offensive drives would not stall with burrow, which helps the defense stay on the side.

Catchable balls lead to sustained drives, if you call yourself goti, you better be able to help your cheap *** defense out.

Great point, but all this defense is missing is good defensive coaching. We haven't had that in many many years.

You think burrow air mails the ball to pickens in the end zone against the ravens? No because we are probably not in that same position.
 
Any coach Jerry would hire would likely screw up a Burrow anyway.

If they don’t win in 27 or 28 the “drought” is definitely getting to 40. Not even talking SB, but can you win a damn divisional playoff game?

Don’t tell me Jerry is inclined to hire a staff capable of developing an NFL QB to full success. I think they’ve used their luck to get this far.

I do if Burrows coach told him to throw the ball away if the first read wasn't open like Dak was told to do.

I like your explanation of "different opponents and different scenarios" because that is never considered when discussing all things Dallas Cowboys.

Burrows hasn't look to good the last couple of seasons with bad defenses on his team. Its amazing that you have faith in him to all of a sudden have success here with our bad defense that was worse than any of the bad defenses that he's played with.
