You trust Jerry and Stephen to get QB right? The last one they picked to do that was Quincy Carter. Neither Dak or Romo were brought in to be "the guy", Jerry just lucked into them being more than a 4th round flier pick and UDFA project.

Jerry is the GM. You can't just overpay one player and expect results without doing the rest of your job. Like putting the coaches and players around him.
