I am not saying it is Daks fault, but that is not money well spent.

Fortunately everyone knows that wins are not a QB stat anymore than they are a G or K stat.

The big problem is Dallas is being the worst defense in the NFL over the last 2 years to a historical degree. The goal of an offense is to score points as the Cowboys are number 1 in points per possession but its hard to do more when they are not getting possessions because the defense is the worst run defense in the NFL by a wide margin.

You trust Jerry and Stephen to get QB right? The last one they picked to do that was Quincy Carter. Neither Dak or Romo were brought in to be "the guy", Jerry just lucked into them being more than a 4th round flier pick and UDFA project.

And that’s how it’ll be when they move on from Dak. Which will be because of an injury and they luck into the replacement.

It's definitely fine to celebrate regular-season stats, and there is no doubt his numbers look great on paper during October.
The real test for Dallas has never been about whether he can put up top-5 numbers in the regular season; it’s about whether those stats translate to winning games when the season is on the line in January. If you are happy with great regular-season stat sheets, then the current setup works out well. But for a lot of football fans, those numbers don't mean much without a deep playoff run to match them.

Same way the other teams do with top dollar quarterbacks however granted majority of them are a tier above Dak.

Proper drafting, FA, trade... but the biggest help is coaching and schemes. You csn have probowlers/all pros all over the defense but wothout the right direction its all a mute point

Relying on luck to find the next QB is not the way to go. I agree it's time this team starts to look for a QB of the future, but as long as Dak can stand upright Jerry isn't going to do anything.

It bit them hard when Aikman retired, and they were going to have to go with Kellen Moore when Romo got hurt in 2016 had Dak not surprised.

No kidding. I'll take the top 15 QB and a SB over the top 5 QB and play like we do. This whole top 5 or top 10 is meaningless without the wins.

The underperforming, underachieving trends preceded Dak. Despite all pro and HOF talent parading through the organization the team has yet to make even a NFCC game appearance in over 30 years. The constant….Jerry Jones.
A culture of non-accountability plus Jerry desperately trying to prove to the world he knows football when he doesn’t so he hires experimental coaches and usurps any decent ones with his meddling. Every big moment the team has gotten, they folded, usually in embarrassing fashion. Our players LEAVE this team and go win a ring elsewhere, even well past their primes. Tons of teams have become contenders, topped out, rebuilt, and become contenders again and made their conference championship game since last we made one.

Dak is holding up his end of the bargain. He played excellent last season, and if anything he's raised his game this season.
