Not at all. Fans on this forum constantly talk about how elite this offense is. We all know the defense sucks, but the offense is far from elite, especially against good defenses.
We have played 5 games. Out of 5 games our offense has played poorly in 2 and a half. Our offense played poorly vs the Giants, Tampa Bay, and the 1st half vs the Texans. That is not an elite offense!!

Also, silly is kind off silly word to use in a football forum.

Not worried about the offense. Worried about the defense and special teams. Moreover, I'm worried about the messaging from the HC and DC. I feel like they are neutered by Jerry. But I will say this, Shotty doesn't seem to be HC material. He's too worried about what his players think.

Who cares if it’s elite or not? I never said it was an elite I don’t even know why this is a topic of conversation that’s why it’s silly. The defense sucks. The offense sucks sometimes and sometimes it’s good. Get rid of the offense or OC for all I care.

The offense was fine against Giants. Buccs they sucked. I’m more concerned with the defense. You want to concern yourself with the offense after one game he my guest but the damn defense has sucked for 3 years now.

We have people who admit they aint saying ship about offense with defense so bad...no matter how bad offense is.

The offense is erratic. The lack of possessions isn't helping, certainly. Even so, given how erratic and inconsistent as they have been they are producing and this is keeping in mind that we still can't run the ball (probably a big reason for the inconsistent offensive production game to game).

I agree a defense that is stout and punches them in the face, a playoff-level defense, will stimey this group but that has been the case since day one with Prescott. An elite defense puts him in a corner and keeps him there. Adding that weakness to a defense put together by Jerry that is nauseatingly putrid and you have the garbage team we trot out into the field every week

Cowboys offense definitely was not the problem in those last two playoff games against the 49ers. 23-17 in 2022. 19-12 in 2023. Nope that was 100% the fault of the defense. And the much vaunted Cowboys beat multiple below .500 juggernauts in 2025.

I have to disagree with you there sir. In 2022 that loss was more on Prescott than the defense...with a caveat. The trading of Amari Cooper was probably where this game was loss...from an organizational standpoint. They paid the wrong guy (Gallup) and they paid for it after Pollard went down. That's one that Dak has to own but I do think 2026 Dak wins that game. McCarthy changed him. Removed most of the option routes in 2023 and the offense had a resurgence the next year. They were a very high scoring team at home that year. 37 ppg and a perfect 8-0.

Dallas also set a franchise record with a +172 home point differential. That makes the Green Bay playoff collapse even more incomprehensible.

There was no excuse for not running the ball against the Bucs. No excuse for not featuring a horizontal passing attack that at the very least allowed THREE big-bodied WRs who are ALL elusive and good after the catch to do work in space. All those vertical routes with their backs to Prescott and nothing underneath to help defuse quick pressure. Shanahan, Johnson, even McCarthy win that game.

Our O game plan vs TB was absolutely stupid. Made no sense whatsoever.

Plus several times I saw receivers running to a spot and just turning around. What kind of routes is Schotty calling?

I think you are making things up w/ your first sentence. I have not seen one poster claim that our D is OK. Everyone says it sucks.

There is post after post complaining that the offense isn’t doing enough. Usually it’s focused on Dak and how we don’t have a real QB, but if we did then we would be winning. But it isn’t exclusively about Dak. If the offense misses a few plays they have failed. If the defense makes a few plays that should be enough.

No one directly says the defense is fine. But it’s still 5 threads to 1 about the offense. We tied the Ravens game with 7 seconds left and lost, and the complaints were about the offense.

exactly. 27 points for a high level offense is the expected range not some magical \ blue moon event.

no doubt, with our other issues that may very well not be enough. but that has nothing to do with what we should expect from a unit with so many resources invested.
