Twitter: Irvin calls out Dak

.start showing ownership, be an azz and rip his team and even his coach, cause he ain't doing sheet, and quite frankly, Dak has more job security than Schotty
1000%........I hate to say it but this just isn't him. To be honest, Garrett AND McCarthy wanted to see more of this from him.

I just saw the hilights, he had over 300 yards passing...that pick that bounced of Ferguson hands could have changed the whole game. How he didn't go to ferg and rip him a new one, I'd beyond me. The lack of fire and leadership on the field.....he's trying to be political correct, a company man, screw that, Dak! Time to drop em, you're career is over in Dallas as soon as there's an out in your contract, anyway! I don't think his play was embarrassing, his demeanor was.
I think he was confused and flustered. He started rushing his passes, throwing worm burners and shot-putting others. His internal clock was running wide open, and he couldn't slow it down. This seems to happen when good defenses try to hide what they are running.

I have no issue with the guy in the stands yelling "embarrassing" at Dak and the Cowboys. I do have an issue with Dak responding. I don't need Dak to get mad and carry on like Irvin. But he does need to get on his teammates and instill some urgency in them. Dak didn't drop those two passes that wound up being intercepted. But we all know if it was Aikman, he would have had words for those receivers when they got back into the huddle. Jimmy Johnson, who coached Irvin in college and in the pros would have benched Ferguson, maybe even cut him after that game.

One thing I noticed about the Giants this year that is different than the past. They look like they have fight in them. I think it starts with Skettebo. That attitude is infectious. Who is the Cowboys player that has that kind of spark on offense or defense? Who plays with that kind of determination and urgency?

rambo2 as well ....... though someone needs to do a welfare check on rambo ....... he has been missing since the Bucs game.
He's conferring with Colonel Troutman right now on how to justify this embarrassing mess.

But it's so bad it's taking them a while to formulate a plan.

Remember Rambo can eat things that make a billy goat puke but he may not have had the stomach for what he had to watch on Thursday.

His demeanor is created by the fact that he gets paid 60 million a year.
At that point you can pretty much buy away anything that is wrong or upsetting you.

Getting that contract and having generational wealth is far more important to him than winning a Super bowl or getting upset about losing a game to the point where he's going to scream and holler at his teammates.

He is just not going to do it he has gotten out of football what he needs to get out of it.

Kind of like the polar opposite of Tom Brady who lived to win championships and put the money secondary.

In short 60 million a year creates no sense of urgency all is well in his world.

No offense to the Playmaker.......we love him. In today's NFL he'd been in jail. Nevertheless, the media antics leave to no seriousness to take from him. In fact, he's placed his "locks" on this team's success on live TV. I'm thinking he's been intent on a haircut anyway.

I thought I might be being a little hard on Dak
But when I saw Michael Irvin disgusted with the whole situation I felt I wasn't overblowing it.

As much of a fan as AC is of Dak
I'm sure he's giving this whole situation some serious thought.
Well I just seen people losing their jobs before at the work place, and it isn't something people should take lightly, especially when there are other people than the person who is losing their job that will be impacted. It is definitely not something you should carelessly contribute to if you can walk the highroad, IMO.

I agree and I think in the long run Dak Prescott is going to pay for it.
Long after the guy gets a new job people will remember Dak Prescott the highest paid player in the NFL going out of his way to get a regular working guy fired.

This kind of behavior doesn't enhance the popularity of him or the team.
It's a pretty bad look

I mean heck all the guy said was embarrassing
It wasn't like he was up in Philly and getting pelted with Eveready batteries or something.

Dak’s frustrated with the coaching. He’s doing all he can to keep afloat a team with no direction, no identity. Dak’s a fierce competitor and hates to lose. Emotions are high right after a disaster like that. Dak’s the least of the Cowboys worries and those putting all the blame on him lack football knowledge. They’re trolls only. Dak’s going to be here for several more years so deal with it. Find something else to be miserable about. Just look in the mirror.

;) Waiting for the usual suspects to put down Irvin now.
I have issues with Irvin as a man and some of his choices....but as a player, i have nothing but praise for his play, work ethic and fire. I talked about him, at length, once with Randy White....he cannot stand Michael...he has his reasons.... imagine being an all time great and a young, cocky kid comes in and gets in your face and talks crap about a coaching legend, celebrating his firing....

You aren't the first to say this....to be clear, Dak asked for that guy to be fired? Or the fact that a comment like that, in a restricted area, caught him off guard and he looked at the guy and then looked at him again when he said something else? Yeah, he talked to a security that came up to him as he walked....but, again did Dak get him fired or did his boss act proactively to save his contract and other jobs. If in fact Dak asked for him to get fired, then screw Dak, if it was a reaction by him that was blown out of proportion by the media and his detractors, we'll that's a whole other issue.
