There were signs of Cowboys Cupcake for 30 years incoming

We don't see character and passion like this in the NFL anymore in general. Maybe there's a player or two that tries to fire up their team, but for the most part it's all about glamour and fame and money now. Now one really cares about winning. It's just about doing barely enough to secure the next pay day. Especially with the Cowboys because our owner loves the cameras and the lights and he encourages his players to like it too.

I saw Mahomes lay into Bienemy last game. An OC with 2 rings!! Rogers lit up Fat Mike mid game Sunday bc he was slow with the play calls. Leaders lead. And call it out when it doesn't smell right. Dak just says GOTI, promises to try harder, throws the game winner in the stands and cusses the Stadium guy.

I am still so thankful that I was young and alive at that time. Still young enough to adore these guys and be a true fan without being embarrassing but old enough to understand the game and their achievements.

I guess even if they won a Superbowl now (which will not happen) it wouldn't cause that kind of wonder and excitement from those years. My parents sold an arm and a leg to finally get me in that stadium one day and my dad probably cursed the day I became interested in football instead of soccer haha. And as a European that meant a long intercontinental flight, hotel costs etc... Great memories, thanks mom and dad, You're the best. And thanks 90s Cowboys for probably the best football time ever. Unlike those guys today, you were WORTH the effort and money.

Let's be honest. Most of us, myself included, are happy to collect a paycheck and do a respectable amount of work. Look at all you posting on CZ while you're supposed to be at work. Dak was a 4th rd pick and he's turned himself into one of the top 10 QBs in the league and one of the highest paid in league history. I'm sure he's fine with that.

There are very few people, in any field, that are obsessed with being the best.

I don’t share Dak hatred that others seem to think he’s the thing holding us back, that guy covering all sorts of warts. He’s not mahomes but neither is anyone else.

I miss Troy - I feel lucky I was a kid when all this was going on so I could fully enjoy it like a kid/teen would.

Dak knows how bad it feels to be told this is embarrassing so could never call anyone out like this...

This was not during our winning days. So this did not translate to wins. When Jimmy was there, Troy did not have to do that. Giving him credit for this is ridiculous.
