Why is Jerry cheap on coaching

Jimmy's culture actually did.

Because without it, Switzer never wins, and Jerry doesnt have the SB without Jimmy to prove he "knows" what hes doing.

Basically.

This is all Jimmy's fault for being too good at his job.

And the fault of us fans for rightfully recognizing Jimmy as the "football guy" who built it. Jerry has been punishing us ever since by refusing to get out of the way, and do what's best for the Cowboys. Won't even close the damn curtains because that would give the fans a "win" in Jerry's mind, and he simply cannot allow that.

The curtains will always be a discussion point difficult to counter by anyone arguing Jerry Jones is just another guy, who just so happens to be a multi-billionaire. He closes the curtains for concerts, but not for games. He can begrudgingly accept the possibility of an alternative glare solution (tinting) in his stadium, BUT only after FIFA mandated some form of decisive action be taken.

Jones is not someone's old, happy-go-lucky, family uncle or grandfather, who is unimaginably rich. He is a massively excessive control freak with intractable self-gratification issues.

No one keeps urls of articles, so they can prove something later.
JG, and MM made around 6 mil a year, and jones boys wanted MM to take a pay cut, to what I dont know.
Gruden was making 10 mil a year, Bellichek was making 20 mil a year, and I dont think jerry would pay 10 or 20 mil a year.
It would seem he thinks a HC is worth 6 mil tops, and less for a guy like shotty.

Like I said in a thread a few weeks back...I blame myself for losing sight of the obvious. It is hard to get something past me....but Jerry had me fooled this offseason. A few weeks in and what was staring me in the face the whole time became obvious. How on earth did I EVER think that a coach in training would win at the NFL level under the spotlight that is the Dallas Cowboys. Schotty MIGHT.....MIGHT....be ready to be a head coach at the end of his contract...but his entire tenure in Dallas will be spent just TRYING to learn how to be a head coach. Why Jerry....at this stage of his life....would put himself behind the 8 ball like this is just bizarre......but I cannot believe I fell for it!!!!!!!!!!!

Jerry does not value good coaching. It has cost this franchise many times over the last 3 decades. His kids are next in line and they are all yes men. 50 years as a fan. I hate to say. Until the jones sell the team. I have to walk away. Opinions

He isn't interested in convincing an accomplished quality HC to come here. It would mean Jerry would have to give up too much control and spotlight. Hence why he either hires the inexperienced coaches looking for their first shot or the old retreads desperate for another chance. They are willing to take much less and willingly go along with Jerry's meddling.
