Lesser known rock artists

I've always thought the Babys never got enough credit. They're a rock band from Great Britain. Jonathan Caine was with them before Journey. John Waite (of Missing You fame) was their lead singer/songwriter before his solo career.

Agreed.

A fun story about the Babys: John Waite was on the phone with his manager, and they had some kind of heating disagreement. The manager was all pissed off and said, "You guys are a bunch of babies," and hung up. The band hadn't named itself yet, and John Waite was like, "That might work." He changed the spelling a little and named his group The Babys.

I somehow missed that thread or don't remember it. I have a good one for it.
