Even though at this moment it's hard to see this team being consistent enough to make a deep playoff run there's a lot of parity this season and perhaps they play better ball down the stretch.

I keep seeing this recurring theme here about wanting to make the playoffs, and while I get it, I really dont.

Being on this forum I am convinced a lot of you dont watch other football teams play.

If Dallas squeaks into the playoffs, it will be to get embarrassed nationally. There is no amount of "growth" this defense can have this season that will help them against LA, SF, or a host of other NFC teams that run hard, and play to win.

So other than your own "fan" inside, which makes me question the word because any self respecting fan wouldnt want to just get there so they can be "right".

This team needs an exorcism and the only way that happens is if they lose, a lot, and the NFL pulls their primetime slots.

You want to know when Jerry will care? When that happens.

So please, stop cheering for other teams to lose, get hurt, just so the lowly Cowboys can sneak in to get curb stomped by SF, again.

Or please explain to me why you even want to get there. You know this is going to happen. It is not a what if.

I hate the lack of recent success as much as anyone. Yes I want to get to the playoffs every year. Losing is no guarantee of some amazing turn around.

The Cowboys are never not going to be a draw. The amount of high and mighty "fans" that think they have the solution are way outnumbered by the fans around the world.

How're all those years of losing and lack of primetime helping the Browns?

I agree with you. Whatever last minute patchwork they’re trying to do the defense isn’t going to work against the top teams in the NFC. The physicality those teams play with is night & day different.

True, no matter how much crap we talk about this team, if we make it to the playoffs snd saycwe win the divisional game. This whole board would be lit.

Honestly if we lucked up and actually won the SB, all would be forgotten. Jerry would be deserving of all accolades. We as fans would be way more appreciative than how the Eagles treat their past champions
