Ya both Lawrence and Ezeiruaku are weak side players. They could slide Ezeiruaku to the strong on pass rush downs. That might even help him. Lawrence is the better talent, and is probably the better pass rusher right now

I think Pettine can salvage Gary. He’s always been a solid rush end and is a relatively youthful veteran.

Eze was solid last year, but he’s only a second year guy, so disappointment is still on the menu.

What are you referencing that had you come to that conclusion? Tampa Bay literally made him the mark and continously ran to his side on purpose.

Man, we gave up a 4th and pay him a lot…..he needs to be a better rusher. We could have just resigned Clowny for a good bit less and didn’t need to give up a 4th. I think Jerry thought since he was a 1st round pick, we should trade for him and he will flourish here, like hthought with other former 1sts he picked up thinking he outsmarted every other GM or something.

Though I think some are to hard on Gary im all for this. Not sure moving Steele right now is best option, but if someone gives you a good deal to take him and salary, do it

I’ve seen several breakdown videos where he consistently fails to set the edge. But he does hustle.
