Quinnen Williams was the one who called the players-only meeting on Monday

According to what I heard via podcasts, Von Miller said if falls on the players. He stated that players aren't executing the plays as they are called. He stated it isn't about the scheme or the coaching, but this "lack" of performance is on the players. Missed tackles and assignments. Take that however you want to.

He protecting his coaches, most people will see this as a negative and he's been around long enough to know that.

Free donuts for all involved.
To many carbs!!! I'm on a low carb diet....down 40 pounds....I was going to an EDC training in Austin, two months from now, getting ready for 6th street!!!! Just found out yesterday, they were sending me to Houston instead......sucks!!!

So, the defensive leader decides to call a players only meeting.

I can’t wait to hear further mental mental gymnastics about how this is a problem that started with Barry Switzer and if Landry was still the coach he would have flown his Flying Fortress over the Star and bombed the players to kingdom come.
Is this the same crowd that say back in their day for an end zone celebration, players would do a tour in Vietnam with the 82 Airborne

I totally agree with this!!!

Has Dak ever called one of these?? If they don't play better then this was all for nothing

How do you figure? He’s just protecting his coaches? Seriously? Have you watched the games? Players are out of position, not communicating well, and failing to run their assignments properly. Right now, they’re mostly responsible for not executing. Sure, the coaches have to deliver that message, and it’s partly on them, but the lack of execution is 100% on the players not knowing their assignments despite walkthroughs and game plans.

They’re simply not doing what they’re supposed to.

If you want to call it 50/50, fine, but I see it as 70/30.

Seventy percent of Thia falls on the players, especially those earning the big money. They’re supposed to be leaders, wearing the C patch, yet they’re not getting it done. Are you saying it’s the coaches’ fault when an interception hits them in the hands? Or when Turpin, Flournoy, and Ferguson fumble? Interceptions, fumbles, turnovers in general, are on the players. Give us those plays back and it’s a different game against Tampa Bay. What about failing to pick up the blitz? You think they didn’t study for that? Most of the time Prescott handles the blitz well, but suddenly he didn’t. I get it—you coach—but from what I’m seeing, 70% is on the players.

Yes, coaches need to teach better and make sure it sinks in so players pick things up quicker and really know their assignments, of course.

That’s almost like saying it’s the teacher’s fault when a student fails tests in high school or even college. Let’s just focus on high school,

. Some students didn’t study much, cruised through the semesters, and then failed the tests, even though the teachers taught everyone the same way. Some passed, some aced it, and many failed. Are we really saying the failures are entirely on the teacher, even though plenty passed and some got straight A’s? How did some succeed while others didn’t? Sure, maybe the teachers could have given more help to those who needed it,

that’s your 30%.

Thank you very much, I’ll take a bow now.
