Lmao!

If you can't see that was an almost perfect pass then it's YOU who has never played the game.

Try again, kid.

I treat the adults here like an adult and treat kids like kids. It's that simple.
You act like a child. And no, nobody here believes you played. I definitely played, but I couldn't care less if you or anyone else knew that.

Please bring more maturity to this board.

I think catching the ball that hits him in the hands is part of his job description. He's a well compensated professional that has not lived up to his hefty contract. I don't see how anyone but him gets the blame on that play.

You just told us you played even though you just told us you didn't care if we knew. Haha

Again, if you think that was a bad pass then you did NOT play the game other than street ball with friends when you were a kid. Either that or you just have an agenda against #4. Or you just like to argue. Maybe all three.

The image is not crystal clear. However, the ball is that black spot between the palms of Ferguson's white gloves.

Simple poll question. Please explain why if the answer is no. I will not reply for the same reason I do not believe the poll needs more than a yes or no: I have heard and read every excuse made for receivers and tight ends not catching catchable passes for forty years.

Of course he should’ve caught it. That’s what he’s paid to do. Why this even a question is telling.

He puts the ball where Ferguson could shield off his defender because the defender got a quick jump on it. That was almost a perfect pass by #4. Wr's prefer the ball to be just above the numbers and in front of them, the ball was there. The ones who hate #4 will never give him credit for anything and blame him for everything. If he wins the SB with us, they will say "what took him so long?" or they will just disappear.
oh, no if he ever wins the superbowl (and with Jerry in charge, I doubt that will ever happen), then everybody else will get credit, except Dak and they will say 100 other QBs could have done it and we didn't have to pay 60M, and they would have done it sooner as you said.

If "I played the game" is your identity, then it hasn't gone well for you in this world.

To the ignore list you go. You're a waste of our time.

This was the Lions game all over again was it last year let's see George Pickens in Florenoy again in Flournoy in the last game and then he got Turpin dropping the ball yeah they they just coughed it up but you know what with the defense we had you mean no defense it wouldn't have mattered this is why nitpicking the offense doesn't play for me around here 'cause yeah sure it would have been nice to catch up and get close but if there would have been a minute left on the clock Tampa Bay would have rolled down there and got a winning field goal or winning touchdown because that's what our defense does give any leads or ties right back the next series it never stops and I don't know what the question is for the poll Is it catchable or not is that the question there is no question really near it?

Ball should have been caught he didn't have to dive he didn't even have to leap he hit him right between the hands head high that is not a terrible throw that is a catchable pass Sure maybe Prescott should be blamed for not handing him the ball or not walking up sticking it in his stomach or needing the perfect pass on a guy is that what he's paid for for to catch perfect passes because I think some of us could catch some of those pillows off perfect passes I know I did in high school I had no problem in high school football catching balls anything near me I caught No I wasn't great but I caught the ball if it was thrown in my area always.

I was Cole Beasley but a less athletic one but anything thrown in my area I caught period end of story I was 3rd string corner and receiver but it didn't matter and when I played pick up games I caught I caught everything..

These dudes are professionals that thing is anywhere near where you have to just reach out and you can hit it with your hands you should catch it..

so here is the sequence and supposed twist!!
looks like he is leading him, fergi is reaching up and front for the pass

U4LkCBC.png

then, his hands are clear in front of him, reaching for the ball. this is a catch if we didn't see anything else (at least the assumption)

ecuT4ci.png

then , ball hits his hands. still reaching in front of him...but you can see his hands didn't close in time (didn't make a nest for the ball to land).
and it looks like the ball is coming out of his hands. no twist. just not closing his hands to secure the ball

TWqtCRE.png

then the ball is bouncing up and you can see his head starting to turn, twist

J1ah38a.png

then he is twisting, trying to slow down, looking back at the ball...

this was clearly fergi. people argue, "the ball was too fast....maybe his little pinky went ouchy"...
catch the damn ball.
this was his second drop of the game.
You absolutely CANNOT see "his hands in front of him". He's running laterally and has to twist his body perpendicular to the lines to get to the ball. Last photo you can see the last process of trying to catch it...body turned hands BEHIND his head.

That ball must be thrown IN FRONT....wher he's GOING TO BE...not where he is. This is not curl or stop route.

And ABSOLUTLY has to catch that ball. I'd bench him.

If the receiver running to the sideline has to twist his body and reach up for the ball....it most certainly is NOT "perfect".

No one said it had to be but stop with this nonsense.

Dang it, @Coogiguy03! If I have told you once, I have told you a thousand times: only vote in polls BEFORE your seventh cup of coffee of the day!
You tell me what to do and I NEVER LISTEN, JUST rip up all the mod applications I don't even deserve to be in the same walls as you!

Thanks for spilling the beans on my pick sheesh nobody was supposed to know!

in real time, the ball bounces and he twists back to see it. in the picture its clear the ball is right in the middle of his two hands in perfect position to catch it.
he is a 10M a year TE. make the damn catch. or is expectations for Dak to walk it up, put it in his belly, hug him, give him a pat and say good job!!! in that case he would probably fumble it.
this is a routine play for any good reciever.

lets not forget, he dropped a pass earlier in the game.
lets not forget he has had fumbling issues.
lets not forget he has dropped passes this year several times.

this is a trend with fergi. whatever he had, he has lost and he is playing without confidence.

and btw, he is a 10M a year TE. I am not. other TEs routinely make this catch..

and this argument comes from Dak haters who want to blame 100% of everything on Dak. and if anyone doesn't criticize dak 365x24x60x60, then they are Dak lovers... the DDS logic
All of that is 100% true.

And it still could have been an easier pass to catch. Why are his hands not pointed to the sideline ion the direction he's running?...where that type of pass is "easier to catch"?

And like I said...I'm still benching Ferg for it. We have plenty of TEs that can drop a not-completely-perfect pass.

Bro. People would take your dislike of Dak more seriously if you showed some objectivity.

That’s a pass that any paid NFL pass catcher needs to make. It’s not even that hard of a pass for a professional receiver or tight end to make
Low expectations yield low results. Fergie appears to have a Fan Club with some of these posts or just another subjective opportunity to critique Dak.
