It's obvious...but...well..some people.Yes an NFL player should have caught it. And yes an NFL quarterback should/could have thrown it better.

That wasn't the question i'm sorry but first of all I found out he had a hand issue 2nd of all no that's not how it works If you put it in a cat's radius in the area you tell me that no quarterback throws balls off that's weird because Matthew Stafford led the league in interceptions in his Super Bowl year with the Rams through two interceptions in the Super Bowl so tell me how all his balls were perfectly thrown 'cause I'd like to know how you think that apparently you don't watch things like Top 10 catches in the NFL week remember ESPN used to top 10 this and top 10 that you know those catches were all balls thrown off you think that catch by OBJ that was perfectly thrown right there in that spot or did he reach back and get that like he was in the Matrix?Yes an NFL player should have caught it. And yes an NFL quarterback should/could have thrown it better.
And I agree with that. All of it.All I saw is that an NFL starting TE had the ball hit him in his hands for the second time in the game and he didn’t make the play. PERIOD!!!!! Just like I said Dak Prescott played like crap most of that game. Didn’t pick or choose one over the other - both needed to do better. But, on THAT play, Jake Ferguson crapped the bed…as he’s been doing for most of the year.
in front, as in front of his chest. not to the right of his chest...if you look, you will see his body is turned toward the QB, as he is recieving the pass and his hands are in front (of his chest, above his head). They are NOT in front of his moving direction. They are "in front" of his chest because he had to turn his body.
His legs are running to the sideline, his chest is pointed at dak. Then he has to reach up. The catch HAS to be made but it's not the "easiest" for a big TE.
When I say "in front of him"...I'm talking about the direction he's running, not him having to turn his torso.
I don't "expect perfection"...but ...sometimes... it helps.
Weird we all see something just a little different..but...look at the poll. 92% blame Ferg, as it should be.
Two things CAN be true at the same time.
DDS emotional responseHow can anyone vote no?
aka, he was running a route across the field, he turned to catch the ball.He twisted his body? Huh?
But that's not the direction he's moving.in front, as in front of his chest. not to the right of his chest...if you look, you will see his body is turned toward the QB, as he is recieving the pass and his hands are in front (of his chest, above his head).
don't make excuses because of your hate for dak. its a routine throw and catch in NFL. all recievers, TEs run crossing routes, and turn and catch the ball.
its not perfection. its a routine throw, made every week in the NFL.
geez you people, you twist yourselves into double knot pretzels, trying to put some blame on Dak. this was 100% on fergi. end of story.
if mahomes made this throw to Kelce, and it would be interecepted as such, everyone would blame only Kelce
Where did I say the pass was perfect? Sure, it may have been a fast ball, but the ball when his hands - he needs to make the play. Just like Dak needs to make more plays as well seeing that his defense is NOT showing the ability to bail him and the offense out more times than not. All these things can be true. And I agree with that. All of it.
What I do not agree with is this notion it was "perfect". No one is saying it HAD to be perfect. Not sure why people hurt themselves leaping to those kinds of conclusions.
I never said YOU said it.Where did I say the pass was perfect? Sure, it may have been a fast ball, but the ball when his hands - he needs to make the play. Just like Dak needs to make more plays as well seeing that his defense is NOT showing the ability to bail him and the offense out more times than not. All these things can be true.
it's all good pal!!!Me sorry.![]()
Professional athlete...TURNS.He twisted his body? Huh?
That’s the only reason I responded the way I did - I thought you personally coming at me. So, we’re good.I never said YOU said it.
I usually make note of that..a general statement....my apologies.
Whenever I look at or think about this play from now on, I will hear in my head Ferguson yelling, "SET!"I think Fergs would make a fine volley ball player.

its a regular route...he runs the route, and then turn his chest towards the QB, the ball was there....NFL recievers practice that ALL the time. But that's not the direction he's moving.
Let's say you're driving your car down the road. What "direction" is "in front"?
It doesn't matter where you turn your head, right?
If you are confused (or wrong) about that...you shouldn't be driving.
I don't care if you think insulting people means you're right. Because you're not.
By the way...I voted ferg...so you can take YOUR "hate" and you know what.
you have a speed monitor? or is that your eye test. 24 feet is 8 yards... but I get it, you have to put bigger numbers to make it sound legit. It hit his hands but was thrown 70mph from about 24 ft away. I can understand the drop. I'll say no.
Clearly he expected Lamb to work his way back. That deep ball to CeeDee was about as bad as any pass I've seen in the NFL all season.
