Three Stooges Marathon. Over 6 hours

I grew up watching the Three Stooges for slapstick
Bob Hope and Johnny Carson for comedy
John Wayne and Clint Eastwood for Westerns

I look at the current drek and it is so pathetic

Even the 80s cheesy movies seem like Shakespeare compared to the current crap that some call "entertainment". And it's across the board; movies, TV, video games, fiction books, music - everything sucks really bad right now with a very few exceptions. Worst era of entertainment in my life by a long shot.

Are we living in the same era?

TV went from 3 networks with censored shows to 1,000 different options, including streaming.

Video games went from 2-d pixels with cheat codes to controlling entire civilizations.

Music I might give you because popular pop stuff annoys me, but again, the digital options to find anything from a classic 50 years ago to a local garage band are incredible.
