Why nothing is on Dak and the offense

We're the only team that's below .500....... altho 2-2 and 3-3 compared to 2-3 can change really fast and it's not a huge insurmountable lead.

But the issue is mostly the defense. You can pick at a few random offensive bad plays.... the Dak throwaway on 3rd and goal, and the Ferguson tipped ball INT...... but a few bad offensive plays compared to like 100 bad defensive plays..... the defense carries the far greater blame.

If we scored 30 or more 3 times in 5 games........ our record should be 3-2 case closed. The only one who has scored 30+ more than 3 times is the Lions.

Outside of Detroit (and their D isn't as bad as our's)........every team on the list has a somewhat decent to good D. We don't.

Basically this defense is so bad the offense needs to be perfect for the Cowboys to even have a chance to win.

When they are not perfect, well, you get last Thursday night as your result.

No offense in NFL history can be perfect, but when our offense isn't perfect all blame for a team that loses, trying to carry another historically bad defense falls on one player..... who doesn't even play defense.

Funny how that works only for the Cowboys fanbase but no other team's fanbase uses that logic/narrative.

Weird, when I was 9 years old, in elementary school, people used to always say that the Quarterback gets the majority of the blame when the team loses. But now you telling me its only happens with the Cowboys... Thanks for clearing up my misconception that it came with the job.

Let's see, over the years, it's been that he doesn't have a RB...doesn't have any WRs...doesn't have an Oline...doesn't have a kicker...doesn't have the right offensive scheme...doesn't have a defense. Maybe the guy just doesn't have the "it" factor?

At what point do we stop asking what Dak doesn't have and start asking what he's actually done?

Of course he has the IT factor. You put him in an organization that's competent and you'll see something drastically different. And he'll likely get more help from the rest of his team too.

We've seen this plenty of times before around the league. The much bigger issue is the Cowboys haven't been the conference championship game in 30 years, no matter who's Quarterback.. That's way more due to Jerry's philosophy on team building rather than the Quarterback.
