We are 12-18-1 since Dak got that contract extension

He's taking up 1/4 of your cap. You need him to be elite every week. he isn't. Draft a qb next year. Give dak one more go at it. But to extend him beyond that would be dumb by this organization
Actually if you invest a high pick in QB like a 1st. Thats best time to cut Dak.

You'd get 5 years cheaper salary giving you time to have cap reset itself.

He said he alone guarantees playoff appearances though. This will be back to back years of that being a lie

Why would anyone believe that a team with a historically bad defense consecutive seasons and a vanilla play calling offense with no motion or imagination would make the playoffs?

We could trade Dak, release Dak, or bench Dak. Thats not going to fix our problem as a team. Nobody with basic intelligence believes that we're a quarterback away from any type of significant success.

This team has too many holes and the worst coaching on both sides of the ball and a GM who doesn't know how to hire legitimate coaching.

So it doesn't matter who the new quarterback is.

He clearly is not the solution and he is the most overpaid player in the league. You have to start somewhere surely you start at the most important position with a guy who has shown everyone his hand and after 11 years he isn’t improving.

Of course they're other issues but just keeping Dak and eventually giving him another extension would be like self harming again and again.

I've never supported the idea of giving him an extension. Thats documented. Also, its not about starting somewhere, its about we would be in the same position right now with pretty much any quarterback in the league this season.

This is a bad team this season. Im still pissed that damn good offensive production was wasted last year and this season both sides of the ball collapsed.

The worst part about all of that is, we have the worst coaching in the NFL that doesn't know how to adjust.

There has got to be ANOTHER MORON TEAM OWNER that would trade for dak ...

HAS TO BE .
How are you going to trade any player with a no trade clause?

Unless Dak agrees to change his contract and take that out, we are stuck with him until we decide to finally cut him. Given how big his salary cap hit would be, he will be here at least in 2027 and 2028.

Cee Dee fell down on the second pick but his first one was like most of the ones he throws. Late across the middle and where the defense has numbers. The inevitable happens and he always looks shocked, Its as predictable as the tides and an incredibly tired act.
It's also why the offense takes the ball first when they win the toss. Playing from behind leads to Dak forcing throws that well lead to picks.

Dak Stan here. I agree, I thought the extension was stupidity on the Joneses. That is what happens when you try to swim with the sharks when you are a cuddle fish. I get the Dak hate but Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, and Brady couldn’t win under the Joneses either.

I have said it all along, not a Dak hater but Dak isn’t the answer. Last shows exactly why, he can’t get it done.

Signing him wasn't a terrible decision. They had no other choices. Giving him $60 million was the mistake. He was never worth that much money and never will be. This is what kills me. They were willing to give Dak $60 million yet would not sign Micah in 2024 when he would have cost them half that much?

You need a QB. Ask any team that doesn't have one. But you also need to know the value of your players. Never pay anyone more than he's worth. It always comes back to bite you.

Nonsense

Dak could be playing here free, he still isnt talented enough to get it done. He shrinks in big games. Unless an all-time defense is built around him, hes not winning you a super bowl.

The defense has been bad. We all know that. But Dak is a loser QB. Even if we held Green Bay to 13 points yesterday, Dak would give you 10
