Stephen: We absolutely believe in Brian Schottenheimer

[Kevinicus]

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan said they “absolutely” believe in Brian Schottenheimer.

“There’s not any question in Jerry and my mind. He has the team. There’s no question they want to go out there and execute and make things happen. Feel really good about our coaching staff. We just got to have it continue to evolve and get to a point to where we can win these football games.”

Right before he unalives you lol

Bingo

We know Stephen.. we know. The Binky isn't going anywhere.

They will continue the charade until the final game by which we are mathematically eliminated from any idea of the post season. We've seen this before. What a guy punch to this fan base. Hopeless situation.

4-5 more losses should end the season.

The Jones family is so stupid and stubborn. God forbid they admit that they screwed up in hiring an idiot hc. We are royally screwed. I guess it's a good thing that the Cowboys are in such a crappy division.

[Bobhaze]

Cowboys fans to Stephen: “Cowboys fans absolutely DO NOT believe in you or Jerry. You guys are THE problem.”

Embarrassing.

The dreaded vote of confidence. He’s gone. Now it’s just a discussion if it happens after the season or during the season, maybe the bye.

Credit to you and some others in here. Called this guy a fraud from the very beginning. Until dumb and dumber decide to hire a real football coach, nothing will ever change around here

Thank you.

I told you guys, I would ruin the day I figured out how to post these!!

The bye follows the Seahawks game. I have maintained for many years Jerry Jones will not fire a head coach in-season unless his head coach has completely lost the roster. Brian Schottenheimer may be barely holding the team together, but it is still functional.

Wade Phillips lost his roster by early November. Not having his starting quarterback helped derail those players even more. If things continue to track as it has, I can *see* Schottenheimer getting the axe before the end of next month IF he loses Dak Prescott along with everyone else. He will not step into the month of December should he lose his starting quarterback's support.

This is a pretty standard response from any sports organisation getting questions after a series of poor results. No owner of team is going to say our coach is a bit rubbish so we’re thinking of changing… until of course they suddenly do.

The Jones’s can’t be gone soon enough for me, but there’s nothing to see here.

My mind's insane. I just remembered Bill Pullman telling Randy Quaid 'Good luck buddy' at the end of Independence Day.

My brain will be fried for the rest of the day.
