Los Angeles Dodgers

During the All-Star Game Roster revealing show on Fox, all the anchors on there were slobbering over Matt Harvey and how he was the "best pitcher in the game right now". I couldn't help but start laughing because Clayton is currently 1st when it comes to ERA and WHIP. Only thing that is "down" for Clayton this year is his strikeouts and he's currently 7th in the league LOL. If Clayton keeps it up and ends up with a 16-6/7/8 record, i will cause a riot if Harvey beats him for NL Cy.

Harvey has been getting rocked in his last 2 or 3 starts. Only reason Kershaw isnt on the list of his own is because of wins. But Dodgers were giving him ZERO run sup[port early on. Now with the team hitting, Kershaw looks to be unbeatable. Guy is just breezing thru games.

Harvey while he's good. Isnt in Kershaws league just yet

matt kemp comes back, does good in his first game off the DL and hurts his ankle. :(

Going to my first game in Dodger stadium Friday. That will complete my West Coast stadiums. So, 18 baseball stadiums off my bucket-list :)

It's a cool experiene in my view if you just watch baseball. It doesn't have the many attractions like other new ballparks have.

And that's what makes it great! If you want attractions then Disneyland is down the street.

I can watch a game on a dirt field with basic bleachers, love the game. Played it through college and is my favorite sport. The Cowboys hold my passion but baseball is my game and forever will be.

Do you need to get tickets in advance for games or can you just pay at the gate? Planning to go when they play Arizona on 9/11 as I'll be in L.A. for a few days from around lunchtime that day and wondering if i should sort tickets from over here or if I can just turn up.

Yeah lol. That is why I love the place. I use to like the Angels ballpark also, but I was turned away by it when they added the extra stuff we see today.

I don't know because that game can be very important for these reasons:
1.If there is some giveaway that game
2. Playoff importance
3. The fact that it is on 9/11

People do turn up to Dodger Stadium for important series. I went to the stadium on the last game of the season against the Padres in 96. Those games broke my heart as the Padres swept the Dodgers to win the division and the Dodgers got the wildcard. That stadium was packed that afternoon.

There will be some seats available but don't expect the good seats if it is more than 2 people. You probably would be seated at the highest deck or close to foul pole in the blue. It is still a good view.

Thanks for the advice, may be worth picking up in advance then. To be honest I'm not really that fussed about the view as I don't know anything about the sport, just thought it's something I should try and catch if possible while in America.

Its happened. Dodgers in first place. I dont see them looking back. Man this team just doesnt know how to lose anymore. Dodgers were losing 3-2 to the jays with 2 outs and 2 strikes on Dre. And he singles home the tie. top of the 10th, Mark Ellis and Puig homer and Dre knocks in n2 more, Dodgers win 8-3. Im going to call it now. Dodgers/Boston WS

I just hope the Dodgers can win the division so I can see them live again @ Turner Field.

Theres no doubt in my head Dodgers will win it. Dodgers are 14-6 against the NL west in this hot streak. And they've won 11 straight series overall

My wife just got free tickets to Tuesday night just before we head out to that sauna known as Houston.

I get to see Matt Harvey finally :)
