2s getting their two-minute drill. Romo just led the 1s to a long GW field goal.
Bailey takes the kicks for both 1s and 2s. Wins the drive for both offenses.

Nick Eatman ‏@nickeatman 19m
Mo Claiborne standing in the midd
Tim benford had a diving catch in two minute drill .. He's a good day

Tim MacMahon ‏@espn_macmahon 19m
Sam LB Justin Durant has been all over the place today. Just knocked down an Orton pass intended for Escobar.
Dez Bryant cramped up during practice, which is why Anthony Armstrong got so many first-team reps. Dez says he's OK. Should go tomorrow.
DL Ben Bass hurt his ankle. Not sure how serious, but he walked off. Thin spot gets thinner.

Rowan Kavner ‏@KavnerDC 15m
Bass left the field today. Appears that it's his left ankle. An ankle injury held him out at end of year last season.

Bryan Broaddus ‏@BryanBroaddus 12m
Appears that Ben Bass has suffered a left ankle injury in the same spot he had last season. He has been outstanding

Nathaniel Newton Jr ‏@61NateNewton 6m
Once again we are looking at the O-line 71 Nate Livings practice today and was very rusty!
But 62 David Arkin had nice day Especially in pass rush games vs the D-line he and Doug Free
70 Travis Frederick did ok but hand placement needs to get better in passing Situations
During team passing 37 Matt Johnson came with a nice INT

Calvin Watkins ‏@calvinwatkins 1m
Matt Johnson jammed his knee but finished practice.

Brad Sham ‏@Boys_Vox 5m
Hey Coach Garrett, you getting concerned about injuries? "It's July 26. Look at the calendar." #perspective

Mo won't live up to the billing.
He'll be a solid corner for plenty of years, just doesn't have elite athleticism

Any update in Bass? We need him in the rotation desperately.

Not good news on Bass. He might be fine in a day or two, but is probably much more susceptible to injuring it again.

Ha, I love when people use silly blanket expressions like "elite athleticism." What the heck are you even talking about?

Players with elite athleticism, like dez, show flashes of greatness even when their overall game isn't that great.

I haven't seen or heard of these flashes from Mo.

The kind you'd expect from one of the top CB prospects in the past decade.

I know this isn't an exciting question, but any news about how Arkin may be performing in camp?

You'd be fine with just 2 pro bowls and a miserable end to the 2nd half of his career (in Dallas)?

I'd be fine with Newman's career, if that's what you're trying to characterize. I don't care about probowls, though.

People overvalue draft picks. They think every top ten pick is going to be a multiple probowl player. The reality is that's obviously not the case and those expectations are not Realistic. I mean, realistic.

This is not about the fans. The Cowboys overvalued the pick enough to give up their 2nd rounder when they obviously needed as many picks as possible. They didn't do that with the expectation of getting another Newman. Troy Vincent is what they are wanting and expecting (5 pro bowls...one or two all pros...40-45 ints).
