This is a veteran team, we have good Assistant coaches, and we have a QB in his prime.

We also have all kinds of offensive weapons and with the signing of Brandon Moore our OL should be solid at the very least.

I actually have the Packers in the Superbowl as my Pre-season pick but when I look at the Cowboys roster and the Packers roster I can't say they are a lot better than the Cowboys.

If we can't make some post season noise this season then it's probably just not meant to be with Romo and Garrett.

I can't see Dallas dramatically getting better anytime soon unless they stumble upon a phenom in the draft somehow.

One great draft can dramatically impact the fate of any team.

I see a two year window with the youth on this team.

Two year window? Now or never?
Wrong and wrong.

I'm not saying there is a window. We could be good for awhile.

I just think if we can't make some noise this year then I doubt there is much hope down the road.

Especially since we have ignored a major youth movement on the O-line and D-line.

The defense in year 2, with Crawford back and maybe a couple of key additions, might be better.

And next year most of what you said makes us competitive this year would still apply. So I'm not buying your premise.

That is why I think if we don't do much this year then I doubt we'll do a whole lot next year unless we discover a game changer somewhere.

This is the best team we've had in years. If we can't produce this season then I just don't see us dramatically improving.

In fact we could take a huge hit on the D - Line after this year and actually be worse.

Also this isn't a complex defense so I don't buy into the year 2 thing.

Look at the Bear's defense from last year and the year before that, with mostly the same players.

Also, we could discover that Leary is truly here to stay and Bernadeau or someone else is a staple at RG. The continuity on the O line of those guys with Fred is also something that can improve with more time. Try not to put predictive boundaries on dynamic situations.

Totally disagree. Two years ago, this was an aging, veteran team on the downhill slope, but now, it's a VERY young team that should be good for years.

Romo should be able to play a while if we put an o-line out there for him. He's not old by QB standards at all.

Murray, Dez, Williams, Randle, Smith, Free, Frederick, Leary, Hanna, Escobar, Claiborne, Carr, Church, Lee, Carter, etc,........there is a ton of young, good talent here now.

The difference is that the Bears have shown that they could get to the Superbowl and Conference Championship with their coaches and players.

We've never shown that and this is the best team we've had since Wade's 2nd to last season.

If we can't make some noise in the post season this year then I doubt we'll do it anytime soon unless we land a difference maker somewhere.

Skill positions are loaded for awhile. Skill positions should never be a problem though.

What about Hatcher, Ratliff, and Spencer?

We have a dang good team this year and we need to start making some post season noise this year.

If we've improved from an aging Veteran team in 2 years, what's stopping us from furthering that improvement in 2 more years. A time that will indeed lessen the impact of the 2009 disaster.

They have hopes that Crawford can replace Ratliff. Bass is a young, up and coming player and a first round pick on D line next year (especially if we don't do well) will help bolster the Dline some more.

Never say never.

If we get to the last game and it's to make the playoffs and we lose again then i'm ready to say that this is just what we are.

We lost to a team that couldn't complete a forward pass and it cost us the division and the playoffs.

Like I said. They may fix it. But I doubt we'll ever be dramatically better then we will be this year in the Romo era unless we find a Adrian Peterson like difference maker somewhere.

What does that have to do with saying if we don't win this year we may never win? That's my point. Never say never.

This team went from Super Bowl or bust to the entire fan base being ready to drive their cars off a cliff on the way to work this morning?

Because of what you ask?

Brandon Moore

Lolol...this puts things in perspective for me because this all applied to me too
