3 targets, 3 catches, 49 yards, and a TD. His ability to get separation and his hands make him a legitimate threat. Can't wait to watch him this year.

He impresses me every time I see him play. He just has "it".

Wasn't he hurt? Does anyone know or have updates?

Yeah, said he got his foot stepped on. No timetable yet but said he's just concentrating on getting better which leads me to believe he's not "Fine." Hopefully, he gets right quickly.

Probably a bad bruise... he should be ready for the next game.

The level of dismissal, impatience, and overall disgust with the bease last year tickled me to no end. "he can't play special teams and can't get on the field so he's gone".. Blah blah blah. Y'all crack me up. There's still some room in the cole train for you half hearted fans. I'll gladly welcome you aboard. I always knew he was going to be a project that would stick because he is shifty and knows how to operate in space. I'm glad some of you are starting to come around. ;-)

When it first happened that was my inclination as well.

Him and Matt Johnson need to learn the difference between a bruise and a break. Toughen up and play thru the bumps and bruises, everyone in the NFL gets them on every play. If you can't handle it then you're not making it in this league.

Settle down, he hasn't done anything yet.

I knew my post would drag one of you from out of the shadows. I respect your realness. Oh & btw, he most definitely will stick. Romo loves him. (for good reason)

Settle down, he hasn't done anything yet.

I really hope so, with Crawford going down last years draft class is looking grim.

I love Beasley but he's just too small. If he can somehow survive the season he should be a nice 3rd down option. This is a big men game and the odds are stacked against him unfortunately.

I watched him in camp last year. When they ran the 1-on-1 drills (WR vs DB) it was clear that he had a level of quickness that no one could match. That is his leverage to production. His hands are great as we have seen catching anything within his wingspan (which admittedly isn't much of a wingspan). I became a big Beasely fan last summer.

But the truth is he deals with physical limitations that many other WR's do not. Its big trouble if a DB gets his hands on him. If there is puishing and shoving involved, its pretty much over. His quickness HAS to keep him out of those situations.

Even after a catch, he has to be careful. He is very overmatched strength-wise. With that kind of physical disadvantage he can be separated from the ball even when he secures it. When he gets his foot stepped on, its a bit riskier. His smaller size and quickness is his leverage to success but he has to play with his head on a swivel more than most. I worry a bit about his durability as he seems to get nicked up pretty regularly. Nothing serious so far.

He's small but he's quick, elusive, and just flat out hard to tackle. He has good chemistry with Romo and a knack for getting open. And the best part about it is that he doesn't have a hard time catching balls, he's got good hands.

I hate to say i told you so, but..

lol, last week's thread about how he wasn't that good, and might not make the team really were a riot.

Makes a whole lot of difference when you don't have two scrubbies throwing to you.

Does anyone know why he almost quit the team but eventually came back?
